Garnett — Local services in Atlanta

Garnett Marta Station is one of the location of the greyhound bus station. This was my layover on the way to London, Kentucky. I usually book a trip through Flex Bus located in Atlanta also but on a different Marta station. Garnett Marta Greyhound station is located right across a famous strip club in Atlanta, Magic City so it’s a bit sketchy. Stay inside the station since you will never know what you can run into just for safety. This greyhound station is 24 hours & a ton of people would travel through bus since it’s more affordable if you have time. There’s bathrooms & snack machines. The cafeteria is closed. Guards are 24 hours & there’s also a store across the street. It’s somewhat safe but use your common sense. There’s also a dollar tree less than 2 miles down the street where I bought some of my snacks which saved me a ton of money & gave me time to kill since I had over two hours to wait. If look pass how sketchy the area is you actually get to enjoy all the historical monuments erected in the area since the 17th century. Pretty awesome since I’m a sucka for history. Garret train station is the most unsafe place to catch a train. It’s dirty disgusting and unsafe place to travel stairways is not safe to go down because you don’t know what waiting for you elevator is the most disgustingly you literally afraid to get in but I was told it was safer to take than the stairs my Marta police. I was uncomfortable and couldn’t wait for the train to get there had to call someone to stay on the phone until train gets there and this was in the morning this was my second time traveling there the exit and entrance of Marta is disgusted and unsafe I saw one Marta cop when I got there at 730 and returned 8:15 she was gone. Hagglers, Homeless people, and Muggers baiting their next victim all harrassing tourists from the Greyhound station looking for Garnett for money. Got harassed by a haggler because they tried paying for my fare at the gates to trap me in the system to get their cash.(The Card Vending Machine Credit Card Reader was out of Order.). Luckily police were present. Do not board here until they strengthen security and get those Hagglers off...
