Don’t be fooled by that 4.7. Had some Pad Kee Mao over the weekend and it was quite awful. Completely inauthentic that it could barely qualify as Pad Kee Mao in my opinion they should just call it noodles. The noodles were not the soft flat wide rice noodles that one would expect. Instead they were flat but skinny and severely undercooked making them very chewy. The flavor was fine but just not Thai. It had a strong Soy sauce flavor that overpowered everything else. The chicken was gamey and unseasoned. The service wasn’t the rudest but certainly not trying to be nice. I don’t care too much about that personally but others might so I thought I’d mention. Additionally, on their google maps site they have an option to check wait time for a table which gave me the impression that it was a dine-in waitstaff experience. But in reality, it’s an order at the window, receive a ringer that rings when your food is ready and then you’re served in card board to go boxes. Again not something I necessarily mind just felt a little deceptive if that’s what you’re hoping you’re not going to get it here. And for what was essentially a fast food experience, the food was not actually fast to come out. At the end of the day it was edible but super expensive for what is ultimately a bland inauthentic experience. I have no idea why it has such a high rating I guess there are a lot of tasteless people around it. I will say it seems very kid friendly there were a lot of children and high chairs available. I don’t have kids myself but that might be a reason for the high rating for people who find that very useful. If you have kids and don’t mind inauthenticity, I suppose this isn’t a bad place to go. However, if you don’t have kids just be aware that this will be a loud kid full environment. I’m not one of those people who hates seeing kids in public but I guess some people might prefer a quieter...

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Tyde Tate Kitchen in South Downtown Atlanta, and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. For those seeking an amazing Thai restaurant, particularly in proximity to Mercedes Benz Stadium, this establishment is an ideal option. I had visited Tyde Tate Kitchen prior to an Atlanta United game, and it was an excellent pre-game spot.
The food was nothing short of exceptional. The shrimp pad thai was particularly noteworthy. I have to say, the shrimp pad thai was some of the best I've ever had. The curry puffs were perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with flavorful chicken, potatoes & curry on the inside. The Thai fried rice was simply divine, and the chicken basil had just the right amount of kick. Everything was expertly prepared and bursting with authentic Thai flavors.
Parking was a breeze, which is always a plus in downtown Atlanta. And to top it all off, the service was chill, friendly and personable. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. Overall, Tyde Tate Kitchen is the best addition to the downtown restaurant scene. The food is simply amazing, the drinks are delicious, the location is unbeatable, and the service was of the utmost caliber. I can't recommend this place enough! If you're looking for the best food in the area, look no further than Tyde Tate Kitchen. It doesn't get any...
