If you are thinking about trying Savant Salon, JUST DO IT! You won't regret it. I never leave reviews, but I had such an amazing experience with Susan and Tamera at Savant Salon that I just had to leave a review. I wanted to get a cut and a balayage treatment. It was going to be my first major hair overhaul since the pandemic started. I was given a recommendation for Savant Salon by another hair stylist. They were able to get me in the very next day for a 5 hour color treatment marathon. Susan and Tamera immediately made me feel like family. My beverage glass was never empty and they even went out of their way to order me lunch. I have very dark textured hair and I wanted to go pretty light. The bleach was not able to lighten my hair as much as I wanted during that first treatment (which is to be expected). Susan and Tamera told me to come back for a second session at my convenience. They were able to get me back in a few days later. They gave me an additional highlight, cut and style completely FREE of charge! They were only focused on me being completely satisfied with my hair. Honestly, this is the best customer service I have ever received. Their skills are exceptional, and they were able to recreate my vision for my hair perfectly. I am beyond satisfied. Maybe we caught this salon on an off day, but my daughter and I did not have a good experience. We came in for a haircut and a color for her and a partial highlights for me. It took 5 hours. The excuse was that they were doing a color correction on another client which dominated the salon....where I can definitely appreciate needing immediate assistance, usually, that client is worked in around other appointments and not the other way around. My “partial” highlights were 5-7 foils and took about 7 minutes and my haircut about 15 minutes. I then had to have those highlights fixed at another salon because they were so much lighter then the rest of my hair it looked very off. The salon did comp my hair after this, but I still paid almost $300 for my daughter’s hair and it faded in about 2 weeks...usually lasts 6-8 weeks. My friend and I went to get blowouts and Susan clearly had no clue how to give one. She did not even properly part my hair when she blow dryed and tried to blame my wavy hair as the reason why she couldn’t get it sleek and claimed there was no way I get it sleek with a round brush… my friend has fine very light hair and hers is also frizzy. she just clearly needs to relearn the process. I now have frizzy hair and am going to go home and redo it. And then she had the audacity to say “I thought I was doing you a favor” I told her I give myself amazing blow outs with my own revlon brush and it is possible. She was also very rough with her brush… if you need a blow out do not come here.. pics in the car immediately after didn’t even have the time to tell her that it was horrible bc I’m not sure she would’ve known...
