Atlanta Artists Center — Attraction in Atlanta

As a former artist member, it was shocking to me how they defended bigoted religious viewpoints from an employee, and that person's extremism. They defended that extremist over their own members. Membership is expensive too, and in return they could not care less if you are a member or not. It's really puzzling how a "non profit" can get away with tolerance for the dissemination of religious extremism and the violation of an employee using member's confidential information. Their Board is ultimately unfriendly, cliquish, and has some very judgmental people on it. The jurors for the shows pick some really poor quality art to exhibit too, and award the winning cash and ribbons to their friends and people they had as students. All in all a very cliquish place that doesn't like outsiders or even their own...
