Wine Bar with bites or shareable larger plates. This hip-corner spot offers a cozy inviting patio and interior with food that is mediocre, luckily the wine selections seal the deal here.
The wine selections are impeccable, offering unique varietals you don’t normally pour yourself on the daily. Too they offer smaller pours for higher-end Chablis or rare reds.
The food has some catching up to do. We ventured to try several dishes to pair with our wine + it was not a kudos to chef experience for us. Sure it was a busy Wednesday night, tables filled everywhere; we like many, I’m sure were excited to try some good grub. -Ham + Cheese beignets (over fried, we’re cheese lovers, but cheese wasn’t oozing out). -oysters (shocked no lemon or mignonette, the chive garnish was a flavorful accent) -pommes fries (bartender insisted we try the three day brine fries, so we paired it up with our steak, but definitely preferred it with ketchup (note: they’re not jaw dropping fries). -steak (steak itself was cooked perfectly, but I really wish the bartender would have expressed the chimichurri is crafted with either clam juice/fish oil; my tummy was not a happy camper leaving restaurant, and wish I expressed something before leaving).
All in all- we’ll be back for the wine one day. Hopefully the food improves. PS all team members were caring...

Read moreFinally made it in after reading much about this new restaurant. We waited just under 30 minutes on a Saturday evening for a table for two. We ordered drinks while we waited, a Manhattan which was perfectly made and one of their non alcoholic cocktails, also delicious. Our order included chicken liver tartine, pomme frites, ham and cheese beignets and steak. Each dish delivered. The tartine was more than two people could share, interesting collage of toppings, hearty and delicious. Pomme frites were great accompanied by a wonderful mayo dipping sauce. The beignets were light, full of flavor and delightful. Our steak was medium rare served with grilled squash, all great. They have a vast wine list and if you are a connoisseur of wine you will be in heaven! Definitely planning a return visit and a wonderful addition to our...
