Marquia Fisher's professionalism, kindness, and upbeat spirit shone brightly even though I found myself at the back of a very long line. My attention was immediately drawn to her because of how she interacted with one of her customers.
She tackled the line with impressive efficiency. When a customer needed to make corrections, Marquia explained everything clearly and asked them to step aside briefly. While they made the changes, she served two other customers, then promptly assisted the first customer upon their return.
This representative was incredibly kind. She made every customer feel heard, cared for, and appreciated, all while managing to keep the line moving smoothly.
Another employee, Marcus, was retrieving an item from the back for a customer. Before leaving, he kindly asked if anyone else needed something – I was the only one. I gave him my slip, but before he departed, I inquired about the other representative's name. He informed me it was Ms. Fisher. When she heard her name called, she turned her attention to me and Marcus, giving me the perfect opportunity to praise her exceptional customer service skills.
Marcus returned with my package, but unfortunately, he encountered difficulty finding the package belonging to the previous customer. Despite this, he provided me with my package without a receipt, as none was required.
Although tempted to leave, I felt compelled to write a review. So, I entered the post office again and made a small purchase with Marquia just to obtain a receipt with all the necessary information for writing my review. There were four of us waiting – Marquia informed the two customers ahead of me that Marcus was still searching for their package.
At that moment, Marcus returned with his customer's package, both of them visibly relieved. I purchased my stamp, expressed my sincere appreciation to Marquia for her excellent service, and exited the post office alongside the customer who had finally received his package. He confided in me that he'd feared he wouldn't get his package, and I truly believe he wouldn't have, without Marcus's dedication to finding it.
Most times, post office visits involve impersonal, dry unhappy representatives seemingly wishing they weren't there. Witnessing Marquia rise above these all the difficult challenges of this kind of job, remaining exceptionally kind, professional, and efficient while making her customers feel valued was truly refreshing. Read moreInfuriatingly unprofessional and incompetent. I work out of state 4 out of 5 days and rely on delivery to get my errands done. A delivery attempt happened while I was away so I went online and scheduled for redelivery on a day I will be home, with explicit instructions to ring the doorbell. The day came and went while I stayed at home all day waiting for the package. No ring, no package, and no attempted delivery notice. Trying to be patient, I again scheduled for redelivery on another day I'll be available. Again I waited all day, only to discover an attempted delivery notice in my mailbox at the end of the day despite being home. Next day, I had to take time away from work to go to this office location to retrieve my package. The woman at the front desk was helpful and went to find a manager for me to speak to about my delivery problems. A "manager" showed up and I recounted my issue to her. She proceeded to make excuses as to why the package was not delivered stating it was heavy. I asked, "So you won't deliver if the package is heavy?"
Her: Well, it says here delivery was attempted on your scheduled date. Me: I was home all day. My doorbell was never rung. Her: It's your word against my delivery guy. Me: Why would I lie about this?!
At this point she gets into an aggressive, argumentative tone.
Her: I'm not saying you're lying, but I haven't spoken to my delivery guy to get his side of the story. What do you want?! Me: I want my packages delivered. I want disciplinary action if people don't do their jobs! She raised her eyebrows at me and scoffed, "Really?! Really?! You want disciplinary action?! I'm going to go get the manager" and storms off.
Fortunately, the actual manager was much more understanding and at least outwardly admitted the delivery guy did not follow instructions and said she will look into the problem. I even told her that I'm willing to carry the package myself if only someone would ring my doorbell. She told me it was not my job to do that and apologized for the trouble. As for the first "manager", her behavior and idea of work ethics was atrocious. All the terrible reviews are accurate and true. Who knows if anything...
Read moreHorrible the mail carrier put my mail in my neighbor mailbox cause she told him I move and he took her word and gave her my mail I have had to file a police report and several complaints and all I get is attitude when they are in the wrong for placing my mail with my information on it Im my neighbors nosy ass mailbox now Im having problems getting my packages I was told it was put in the system that I don’t live at my address so my packages got sent back this is ridiculous no one reached out I filed several complaints and you would think I did something to them the manager at this branch need to be trained again the fact she said I don’t believe he did it can u prove it yes MA’AM I CAN but the fact you mad at me for your employee actions and wrong doing then he had the nerve to tell me I seen y’all talking before and she was looking out for you no sir just because you saw us having a conversation does not mean it’s okay for her to tell you put my mail in her box and you do it she was not looking out for me she was being nosy cause she didn’t know where I was at and took the opportunity to get my mail like she stole my debit card I never trust her after that and never will the fact he placed my important information in this lady hands is outrageous and wrong cause my mail is missing along with personal information that should have never happened by any means and I’m keep speaking out about it until something is done cause that was wrong so wrong but they mad at me for complaining if it happened to you you would feel how I feel right now Im disgusted that this happened and the don’t care that Im the one that’s impacted by this and I’m really to the point of hiring attorney cause what they doing...
