Its more like a 3.5 could definitely be a 4...
Went for lunch with my coworker was seated immediately place is nice lots of TVs good vibe like the music... Booths each had their own screens to allow the sun in at your own discretion... I got the 656 Burger only after finding out the Philly isn't too popular on the menu. (Didn't want to be disappointed, I was hungry). The fried egg was actually bigger than the meat patty. The patty itself was cooked perfectly just could have been bigger, and there was no 656 aioli sauce on the burger either. Bummer!! The fries were crispy how I like tho. My coworker got the fish and chips it was just 1 big tilapia and fries with 2 thick slices of Texas toast some lettuce, pickles, onions...in her words "I didn't want a sandwich , I wanted fish and chips scratch the veggies give 2 pieces of fish and small side of coleslaw" she did say the fish was seasoned though.
The server Kailae (it was something like that) also the hostess, she was nice, but needs training on waitressing etiquette. She didn't bring out any small serving platters when the app came out and no napkins and no silverware.( The egg rolls need a Lil work, but I did like the dipping sauce). Our app is done, Our drinks are done no re-fills. Here comes our entrees, 5 mins in still no re-fills...Ahhh 7 mins in, here go the lemonades. And no they weren't busy. She should have re-filled before she brought the entree. But here was my biggest issue when I got the check it looked like the tip was already included ,but I wasn't sure so when I handed here the card I asked for change for 10 also, when she comes back the tip is included! when you use your card, but I ask again just to be sure and she said yes automatically. No- biggie...So sign and hand her back the receipt say thank you and she stands there like she's waiting for an add'l tip. I had to tell her thank you again, for her to get the picture.
Oh yeah there's a weird sewage smell in the bathroom.
Overall we really liked the vibe so I'm willing to try them again, but will probably eat before I come and maybe come after work for drinks, but I really want to try there fried lobster!...
Read moreBefore ordering food on delivery apps I generally read their reviews beforehand but bc I have eaten here a few times before, I felt this was a safe bet when ordering food from the delivery app. But I should've read the negative reviews. This restaurant made no attempt to add my food to the bag. I first called the driver who explained the restaurant only gave them one bag. I called the restaurant who also admitted to giving the driver one bag. The woman that answered the phone said that the kitchen specifically remembered my order and that the vegetables were placed in the bag. When I asked if it was in my tray or in my container she started tripping over her words. My bag was still completely sealed (the exact way it has always been from them; with the receipt tied into the knot) and had no room for an additional tray where my vegetables could've been placed. The inside of my food tray had no extra place for my veggies to go either b/c the third compartment was occupied by sauce cups. For the restaurant to forget a part of my order and then to flat out say "your driver took it" was completely unprofessional and irresponsible. You're an adult just admit it was forgotten. This could've caused negative consequences for the driver had I not used common sense and critical thinking. And just why would the driver go out of his way to open my food and only take the vegetables out when I had shrimp, lobster and other desirables (which were delicious) in the other containers. The professionalism of this restaurant is what will make me avoid them in the future. **After I finished this review, I went to they're social media page and surprise, the comments are turned "limited" but no one can comment. The posts that mention the food delivery apps that they are partnered with: comments turned completely off. THIS SPEAKS VOLUMES!! My company's reviews are never deleted and all of our social media is open for comments good and bad. We have actual customer service and when our patrons feel slighted make it right by simply soaking to them because they matter and without repeat customers...
Read more⭐️⭐️ – 656 Sports Bar (Atlanta) – Great Vibe, Good Flavor, But Seriously? Stopped in around 5:30 looking for a laid-back spot, and at first glance, 656 delivered—huge TVs behind the bar, relaxed atmosphere, and not too crowded. It had the makings of a solid sports bar experience.
The bartender was friendly and gave some good menu suggestions. Early on, she was chatting through her earbuds, which made it hard to tell who she was talking to. Later, she was down at the far end of the bar playing cards with a regular—but to her credit, she paused the game, came over to check on me, and we had a short but nice convo. I was the only customer at the bar, so I didn’t expect constant attention—but a few more check-ins wouldn’t have hurt.
Food rundown: I ordered the lamb chops—great flavor, but for $20, I expected more meat and a lot less gnawing. Still hungry, I ordered wings. Again, flavor was excellent, but the size? Each one was barely more than a bite. This place nails taste, but comes up short on portion sizes.
Now, here’s where things went sideways. I asked if they could put the Twins game on one of those massive TVs. The bartender gave it an honest effort—searched a few different platforms—but couldn’t pull it up. No points lost there, she tried.
But while sitting at the bar, I watched two guys light up a joint—right there in the bar. Literally just sparking up, no big deal. Then, the guy next to me asks if he can smoke a cigarette inside. The response? “No tobacco allowed.” I thought he was joking. He wasn’t. Apparently, weed is fine, but tobacco is where they draw the line. That’s when I realized this place has no clue what kind of bar it wants to be.
Final take: Started promising. Great atmosphere, excellent food flavor, and decent service. But inconsistent bar attention, overpriced small portions, and a “light up weed but not a Marlboro” policy? Yeah… no thanks. If you’re hungry and high, maybe it’s your spot. If you just want a beer, some wings, and a...
