Selling at a Street Stall in Seattle~

Update: they never disinfected the grounds after having 5 puppies with parvo there. I’ve reached out to local agencies to investigate this person and this market for animal cruelty. I’m reaching out to national agencies as we speak to see what can be done. I posted earlier about the sick puppy sold at this market. I deleted my original review because the person who sold the dogs told my friend he’d pay the money back if they took the reviews down. Well I don’t want this to happen to anyone else so I’m putting my review back up now that she has her money back. He has a bunch of post son Facebook marketplace selling dogs. Update: the market refused to give this person’s name only gave my friend the phone number. We posted on Facebook and several people came forward saying that the same guy is outside this very market all the time selling all sorts of different dogs. This company is protecting a man who is running a puppy mill. I’ll be escalating this issue to the humane society and I’ll be seeing if anything can be done since this company won’t give the name of this person committing crimes. A friend of mine visited this market over the weekend and bought a puppy from a vendor set up just outside. Less than two days later, the puppy died from parvo, a highly contagious and extremely painful virus. The seller told my friend the puppy was up to date on vaccines, but that was not true. Now the market is claiming the illness was disclosed, which does not match the facts or the known incubation period of parvo, which is around seven days. That means the seller likely knew these puppies were already sick. This situation is not just heartbreaking for the people who were misled but also incredibly cruel to the animals. Selling sick puppies is dangerous and unethical. It also puts other pets at risk. Parvo can live in soil for up to a year if not properly cleaned, so if animals are allowed here, the public deserves to know whether decontamination is happening. I hope the market provides the name of the vendor and takes responsibility for who they allow to sell on the property.

I removed this post because the vendor said I had to in order to get my money back for the puppy, and while that’s great he returned our money I also think it’s important that people are informed about this situation and maybe that will prevent people from experiencing the same loss my family has. Edit to respond to owner** We were given paperwork for him that shows he has his first set of vaccinations, the owner of the booth said he was "up to date" on his vaccines and we took that as the truth. It wasn't til we took him to the vet that we were informed that he actually should ve gotten 3 sets on vaccines based on his age, not just one. We were given absolutely no contact information for the vendor, but if you'd provide that for me, we would be happy to contact him and let him know that all 5 of the puppies he said he had at the market on Sunday have parvo, and it anyone else there purchased a puppy its most likely dead. We want our money back! We seeked treatment for the puppy on Monday, had to pay hundreds in vet bills and 12 hours later the puppy was dead. And now I have three completely distraught children, after being so excited for a new puppy to be a part of our family. It takes a special kind of evil to do something like this!

There was a booth here selling puppies on Sunday, we bought one. He seemed really tired and we thought it was just because he'd been in the sun at the swap meet, until he started having bloody diarrhea. We took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with parvo and just passed away. He had his first set of vaccines but was supposed to have already had three sets of vaccines based on age, the dude scammed us. The puppy had to have had parvo before they sold him to us. DO NOT BUY ANY...

This place is amazing! They have the best hotdogs in town seriously, nothing else compares. I always look forward to stopping by just for those. They also have fresh donuts, corn on the cob, and fresas con crema that are so good. Everything tastes so good. It’s also a great spot if you have kids they sell cute little toys and bouncy house that kept my kids entertained while we’re there. Really good vibes, friendly people, and great food. Highly recommend checking it out if you...
