Midori Teriyaki Wok — Restaurant in Auburn

Customer service worst!! I went this weekend with my family and ordered about $66 (3 of us) worth in food then when I paid with my CC I noticed that the owner (I think he's the owner) change his face expressions when I didn't add the tip on the receipt so he didn't even reply when I said thank you, he just twist his mouth. Once he brings our plates we said thank you again but he did the same didn't even reply to us.

He bring the 3 plates at separate times but didn't even gave us silverware. At that point I thought that maybe he was about to bring the silverware once he brings out our order but he didn't.

Food was already on the table for about 5 minutes and even my kid was surprised about how difficult could be to eat without a fork and also he didn't even provide napkins, just the plates! I noticed how he was on the counter doing nothing and silverware was behind him so I had to to stand and ask for it.

I got really mad so I was just about to ask for a full refund but my wife ask me to chill.

The point here is that maybe he was expecting tip when I paid but I didn't and btw I was planning on leaving $20 cash on the table but no thank you.

Avoid this restaurant until they learn how to...

This place has the best food! I'm so glad it's close to me. I've tried their Mongolian Beef. I also tried their combination Mongolian Beef & Teriyaki Chicken. Both very delicious. Both the chicken & and the beef is cooked to perfection. Teriyaki sauce has the perfect amount of sweetness. Mongolian Beef flavor is indescribably good. The green onions/onions add another layer of freshness to the flavor because they aren't overcooked and soggy. I can't wait to try out some of their other dishes. I was told that i could add substitute fried rice for a few extra dollars. The amount of food I get, the quality of food all compared to the price I pay, it is all worth...

Totally agree with new reviews. Service is terrible. The owners daughter was so rude to us. The owner was standing there and I politely said “you shouldn’t allow her to be rude with customers”. He put his arm around her and said my daughter.

Ok so if the owner doesn’t have a clue, there’s no hope. Food is hit or miss. But really, other places deserve our business who actually give service. There are plenty of small family business in Auburn who aren’t rude.

Update: after dinner next door TOP PHO, glad this happened. Top pho was excellent and extremely nice. Some of the best yellow curry (sweet yum) I’ve had. Get it without...
