The workers are ignorant -- racist obviously - i was in electronics to get a laptop that was on sale. Before going to the store I checked online to make sure it was in stock at this store- it was. So after waiting for this guy to clock in at about noon (after me and a few other customers waited for over a half hour from 1130am till noon. This guy seemed tired did not want to be bothered when I asked for help with the laptop he said "just because it's on sale doesn't mean we have it!" I said "yea I made sure it was in stock here-" I did not have an advertiser on me for the exact model number (there was only 2 on sale that week in every walmart) - he would not help me at all to find out what one was on sale- he didnt know what one it was- he didn't even call anyone for me who might know. I had to try to get a signal from my phone to use my own phone to get to the weekly add. Then I had to guess what one it was between the 2 models they had of the chrome book- i tried to ask questions about another new laptop they had - a touch screen one - and he would not answer my questions I really seemed to be bothering him. How do these people get hired??? He's working in a department he knows nothing about-- he was rude to everyone - this is a department selling expensive things -- i was asking buying a $250 + computer and he would not help!! He also would not help when I was questioning the touch screen comp which costed $200 more then the one I settled with.. Then - I was putting the comp and some toys on lay away for my son for christmas- a girl was back there i guess talking to the layaway girl and had to ring me up to pretend the girl was teaching her so they could carry on talking.. this girl was also rude-- was talking to me like an idiot asking me how to spell Bellmawr- the town I lived in- right next door to audubon... she pointed up to the register on my side you can see the price of stuff when your being rung up- also it shows what shes writing-- she put the b in there for bellmawr and pointed and said all ignorant "what does that say !" I said "b" .. she said "yea--" like i was some kind of idiot I guess she wanted the rest of the spelling instead of asking me she wanted me to guess what she wanted as she was staring at me like an idiot-- i spelled it-- she spelled it wrong and just went on-- she nocked the laptop over the box fell on its side hard- I know she did it on purpose - Then she was throwing it around like it was a rubber ball.. she was miserable - didn't say "thank you" or "have a nice day", nothing - as I was leaving that department, she got yelled at by I guess her shift manager for being back there when she was suppose to be up front ringing. I left the store and went through the 10 items or less line to pay for some things and don't know it was the same girl who rung me up there too.. same attitude - not polite at all-- actually she looked about 15 I was thinking she should be in school-- along with her little teenage girl attitude. I really considered taking my stuff off layaway .. going to another walmart-- deptford and woodbury are bigger, newer, nicer, and the people are all very nice - as a matter of fact I think no one would be working in those 2 walmarts who acted like the 2 Audubon employees I had to deal with. There are so many people right now of all ages trying to get work of any kind right now- because their companies closed down after employing them for 10-15 years. People who had great jobs and right now would do anything for just a min, wage job! Nice people! Polite people! Helpful people! I'm pretty positive it's mainly a racist thing with Audubon because while only thinking it - other people I talked to about that walmart had the same problems- and they all felt it was a racial thing -- I agreed. Hire some nice people who have knowledge of their departments- or at least who will help get answers - and who will treat customers how they are suppose to be treated.. no matter what...
Read moreLet me first start off by saying that this has been one of the most disturbing experiences I've had at the store ever I have been shopping here for about 5 years I'm a daily customer and I was treated unfairly definitely discrimination by a CSM who has never liked me for some reason you know even for smaller things she's always scrutinized me or attempted to defame my character such as me asking for help finding a item so a few days ago I went to the store and I was in the back next to the basketballs I grabbed a basketball for my son and in the process I moved some of the balls over because I was looking for a better looking ball all the while this lady was looking at me through the security cameras for no apparent reason so I get the ball and walk over to Electronics to check out and I proceeded to give my item the ball basically to the cashier and it scans at a different price than what was listed over there he walked over there verified the prices were wrong for every ball essentially so he was going to honor it he called over the CSM that never liked me to do a key turn and she basically said you know what I'm gonna head back a look at something and she walked back to the camera room yet again to follow my all my steps inside the building to see where I was at and to see if I was trying to steal from them she proceeded to come out and tell me that she is not going to honor that price and that she is the law in the store and she doesn't care that she doesn't report to anybody I ask to speak to a GM and she didn't let me and as she walked away in front of my five-year-old son and my five-year-old nephew and my two-year-old niece and my fiance she kept talking about me she called me stupid and when I asked her why she kept running her mouth in a negative way about me and that she was going to get fired for discriminatory actions against a customer and profiling essentially she proceeded to say that's why your not getting the ball dumbass this is ridiculous someone has to step up and do something before I file legal action I recorded the whole...
Read moreI probably could not hate a store more than this one. I will go out of my way to go to a different Walmart if I need anything from now on.
I've gone here MANY times & everytime it is a pain. Cant tell you how many employees I've seen that have been rude, ignore you, are talking on their cellphone or are just annoyed that you're shopping at the store that is paying their check.
Next up is the online order pick-up. Not once has anyone EVER been working the desk for online order pick-up. There is a button to push on a little device at the register to call someone. You might as well just tickle the wall because this button does nothing, nada, calls NO ONE. You might as well be invisible too because at least 5 employees will walk past you sitting there & not ask if you need help. You also might as well be mute because when you do ask for help, the employee will tell you, "Sorry, I dont work in this section" or "Sorry, I'm on break". Smh...
Today I run in to just get engine oil as the one redeeming thing about this store is the good prices on oil. I have the oil in hand & of course the Verizon people have to get me in the aisle wanting to sell me Fios. Even tho I tell them Fios is not available in my area, they wont take NO for an answer. Then the cell-phone salesman has to stop me in the aisle....seriously??? I want to buy oil & leave...this is not hard.
Get to the 'speedy' checkout & of course the classy customer at the register is having some issue & now they need to call the manager. Said manager must be coming from corporate because after waiting way too long, they still were not there. Put the oil down & walked out....
I'm done with you...
