I want to start off with the positives about this place. What I enjoyed about this place is how big and open the actual place is and the operating hours. They're open till 10pm during the week. I also liked the cleaning measures they have in place to not spread covid.
Here's where I'd like to shed light on my experience. The staff particularly, Mark, was the least bit friendly. Now, I'm not sure if he was having a bad day or what, but he let it be known by his demeanor. When asked what guns were available, he simply pointed to a small rack behind the counter. We asked what guns he would recommend for first time shooters, he rolled his eyes and asked what we were looking for. We asked if they had any 9mm and he quickly quipped yes. When we asked to see them, he, visibly irritated said they were all being used. Now, this wouldn't be an issue had we not asked to see a gun and it was, in fact a 9mm. Had it not been for my boyfriend wanting to stay, I would have walked out right there for how rude he was.
Other downsides to this place is they do not sell ammo by the box. They simply sell them by a bag of 20 bullets. I definitely would have loved to shoot a little bit more, especially with the amount I spent.
I'm also not sure how often they inspect/clean their guns, but right off the bat, we were given a jammed gun. Mark as well as an off duty police officer had to unjam it and was given back to us and after one shot, it quickly jammed again. I would hope in the continuing future that they inspect their guns before giving them out to people each time its used.
All in all, this wouldn't be a place I would recommend if you are looking to ask questions about guns or any first...

Tim, the owner, followed up with me directly after my initial visit. That conversation really addressed a lot of my concerns, made me feel heard, and honestly reignited my excitement to give the range another shot. We went back tonight, and our return visit was much better. The atmosphere felt more welcoming, and the other patrons' shooting were friendly and respectful. Randy helped us out during this trip, and he was an absolute peach—super helpful and kind, especially with explaining the proper way to wear ear protection. I’m glad we came back and gave it another try. Tim and Randy really made a difference, and I’m hopeful that with time, our experiences here continue to improve.

Talked to Tim on the phone, and he was amazing. Very informative, super nice, and took his time explaining things. I was super excited to go in and try out the range, and I have to say I was pretty disappointed with the service provided to me at the Buckley location. Rachel was pretty dismissive and a bit rude, in my opinion. I rented one of their firearms, and she advised if any jams occur to flag down an employee in a red shirt and one will come to assist. When I asked a simple safety question about employee presence in the range, she responded by saying I was “scaring her,” which felt inappropriate and unprofessional. The firearm I rented jammed three times, once before I ever even shot it. The employee who came over to assist with the jam was helpful but gave a questionable explanation on how to grip the firearm. Read moreScam way to go about billing. I got a membership sometime last year and used it for a couple of months. In January they tried charging my account and it missed the payment. For the next 5 months they took 40$ out of my account while consistently sending automated messages that the account was delinquent. I called to address the situation and ended up talking directly to the owner(very rude and unprofessional) he told me since there was a missed payment in January it would have to be paid along with late fees even though I have given them 40$ a month for 5 months since then($200) and had not used the membership a single time since then. Owner was more than glad to make me aware of the fact that I paid over $200 for nothing and that I had to give him more for it to stop. As for the range itself it's nothing high tech and not a great range but admissible if the owner wasn't a con artist.
Update:Another one of the owners, Shelby , did reach out to help in correcting the billing issue and was very pleasant to deal with. She looked into the account and saw what was going on and made it clear she was there to help and cared about the customer experience. We came to a mutual agreement to refund half of the 200$ and simply close the account. Shelby also said that I'm welcome to a couple free days at the range to make up for the bad experience. The range is not high tech but is pretty quiet if you can make it on a weekday or early in the am on a weekend....little to no wait.. Good gun selection.
