As a single female I went through the trouble to get a big truck to bring my Christmas tree home from the Papa Noel tree farm on Lakeline. I was very frustrated at this point because Lowe’s wouldn’t attach a tree stand for me which had MUCH better prices. . Seems like such a simple request from 2 females but apparently they were liable if something happened to the tree on our route. INSANE! I never even got that far with Papa Noel. They stared at me as I pulled up in my big truck because business was so slow. However when I let them know that I was perfectly fine leaving with no tree if I didn’t find a match, the salesman said he was perfectly fine with that as well. As a real estate agent in sales I can promise you if I had a client approach me with a level of frustration from another agency I will assure you that they would get the assistance that they needed to make a proper decision. Not only were they not helpful they could care less if they had our business. Gained our business? Not a chance!. Guess what? They did not get our business nor are they ever going to get our business and I will see to it that everyone is aware of how they treated my mom & I. They are the ones that made the announcement on the local news that there was going to be a tree shortage. I’m seeking a 9 foot tree and as you can imagine between myself and my 80-year-old mother having some assistance getting it on a tree stand Is pretty much mandatory. Who knew that CUSTOMER SERVICE was such a big thing to ask. I do not support nor do I give any kind of recommendation for this tree farm from N Carolina. The tree farm at the YMCA twin creeks would be my pick if looking for something outside of Home Depot/Lowe’s.
Picking out a tree is probably one of the most special things you can do during the Christmas holiday. PLEASE find another tree farm!!!! P.s. when I asked what the guy said under his breath as we walked up, he confirmed that he did not care whether we bought a tree or not. That’s...
Read moreThis review is for Christmas 2017, and in response to the previous negative review... I am not sure about the facts behind it, the customer was initially in a bad mood as she states. We have used Papa Noel for over 16 years and this is my first review, sorry about that. We were so pleased to find out Papa Noel offers a delivery and set up service. My husband had a stroke a few years back and can no longer drive, needless to say, we are without a car. Everyone was friendly from beginning to end. The couple who delivered our tree were friendly and courteous. We have always been very satisfied with their products and services. We can't wait to see you guys Christmas 2018, we will be using the delivery service...
Read moreSecond year buying our family tree from Papa Noel at Lakeline. We purchased in advance but I also wanted to select the tree and not have it packaged for me before I could see it. They called at least 3 times before we came to coordinate schedules and were super professional in the approach to let me know they had one reserved for me to be sure I received one, but they were more than delighted to accommodate my desire to choose my own. When we selected our preferred tree they cheerfully wrapped it and tied it onto our 4Runner. Just a great group of people, so friendly, everyone saying Merry Christmas and getting...
