Spectrum Store — Local services in Austin

Never in my life have I suffered the unfortunate fate of having a more unreliable, garbage, and all around awful ISP than Spectrum. And I was with Comcast for a LONG time. This past week alone has had each day with at least 3 instances of hour long outages. Each call is met with a hired off call center than has no clue, can't help, and no options. Not once have I ever received the speeds I paid for. Thank whatever higher power that there is now another ISP in our area, because as much as I would like to say I'm "jumping ship", I've been in the water drowning for far too long with the anchor of Spectrum tied around my ankle.

Had our credit card stolen and cancelled. Forgot it was connect to this acct so I missed a payment. No big deal, I’ll take care of it when I get the new card a few days later. However, my issue is with the amount of times they call in 1 day to harass you for payment. Literally 3 times daily. Are you kidding?! And of course half of those calls are automated. It’s rarely a human on the other end. Then when you call back, it’s hoops trying to talk to anyone.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! The internet always goes out, the connection always drops during my nursing exams… Everytime we watch tv it ’buffers’ then comes back pixilated.. meaning it’s not a clear image at all.. we’re paying a lot of money for what?? Once metronet finally becomes available.. we’re dropping spectrum!!!! Everytime we call customer service for help, it takes forever to reach someone to actually talk to, then they always say the same thing.. ‘could be your router, your modem, etc. My husband knows technology.. he’s restarted everything.. we’ve upgraded.. and still no changes.
