Runnings — Local services in Austin

THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE RIGHT HERE.

I purchased a rolling tool cabinet recently, and when I unpacked it, it was clear that it had been dropped from somewhere high up at some point; the entire left side was smashed up and bent. Unfortunately, I had borrowed a truck to pick up the chest and had already returned it by the time I noticed this, and so was unable to return it that day. I called the store to see if they could help. The clerk put me on with their manager, and he informed me that Runnings would be happy to take it back or exchange it but that I would have to bring it back. After explaining my situation to him, the manager put me on hold briefly, and when he came back on the line he told me that he was going to try to figure something out and he would get back to me. 30-40 minutes later, 2 men arrive in one of their personal trucks with a new unit in tow. They helped me pack up the busted one and brought in the new one, which we opened together to make sure it was undamaged. UPDATE The Manager “Michelle” at Austin MN Runnings, gave me the correct tomato plants today and let me choose which plants I wanted to fix the unexpected mistake. Was a bit tough finding a spot to plant them but I figured it out :) Thank you so much Michelle for your kindness and help! I now will have a nice harvest for canning my tomatoes!

I bought “Super Fantastic” tomato plants from Runnings Austin MN and they are not them. They are cherry tomatoes I now see and I now cannot can them for the winter like bigger tomatoes l do every year. Wasted money… The growth of the plants though are nice. First trip to Runnings, as we were visiting our new granddaughter. Went in to look around and see what you had. We have two Treager Grills and our large one quite working after 10+ years. We met Kenny and what service. We weren’t sure if it would fit under our bed cover, so he went and measured the box. We weren’t sure, so he went outside to the truck to measure our truck bed. It would not fit, but he suggested a way to make it work. We came back the next day, bought a freeze drier also and Kenny got two others to load the grill and drier into our truck for the 5 hour plus trip home.
