They charge you more than anyone else. BEWARE!!! $10 more on the on the phone and an additional $20 on their "Set up and go plus". When I asked several times can I get a read out of charges before moving forward the salesman said "Its the same price you would get online" but could not show me. In the end I paid an additional $30 for nothing extra but I couldnt see this till the end. The next day I went back to get a phone for my son to review their process. Not only did I have to wait 10+ minutes for them to open the safe (shows they dont trust their own employees) when I pushed back on price they tried to explain "we do a lot more than anyone else". They dont! So I drove to Best Buy in Rochester. There wasn't a $10 charge on the phone or a $20 "set up and go plus" fee. In fact it was just the cost of the phone and I avoided the fee from Verizon for setting up a new phone through Best Buy. The time it took me to work with the sales associate was less that 10 min (the clock on Victra's safe) and 4 minutes of that the sales associate was going out of his way trying to hook me up with a discount I was unaware of. Read moreUpdate : I purchased a new phone and smart watch at this location. The smart watch was not setup correctly with the mobile network so I had to spend 2 hours on the phone with Verizon to get that corrected. Once the service was setup correctly the issues with the watch started. Calls would switch from my phone to my watch on their own, which is a known, common problem with Pixel phones and Samsung watches according to a quick Google search. The store associate told me that a Samsung watch with a Pixel phone was not an issue, which was a lie. They also never told me that this was an authorized retailer, not a Verizon corporate store,which means returns are a major hassle since they can't be processed at any other Verizon store. Now I get to spend even more time on the phone with Verizon to get this broken watch returned.
Also, I just found out that I was enrolled in a $17/mo protection plan and that my device plan was changed. None of this was ever explained to me as I would have declined both of these changes! Now I am even more unhappy about my experience at this store.

They sent me to UbreakIfix and after being told by multiple people it was fixable, we're now at 2 weeks of waiting and 3 different screens later still nothing. I will never be going back to any Rochester store for any reason period. All that being said I needed a phone so I packed up all the family and 630 at night and headed to Austin, wasn't walking out without a phone in an otter box. Me and the wife had the great pleasure of working with Braden. By 715 we walked out with a new Pixel6 pro in an otter box and he was even able to sort out other problems with our account that we've had for years.
