First of all, I think this chain is generally a rip off. But, I had friends help with a few house projects on January 1, 2020. THEY like shopping here, so I sent them a gift card as a thank you for their help. I found out the gift cards wasn't even shipped until 1/3. Why wasn't it shipped a day sooner?
Here I sit on 1/14/2020 and my friends have still not received the gift card I sent them. I contacted the 1-800 number and was told it can take up to 9 business days to ship the items.
I'm told by the folks at the 1-800 number that if it isn't received by 1/16 I can have a refund issued. Why does this have to be such a frustrating experience? Why does it take so long to ship this?? I would have liked my friends to have received this gift in a timely manner as a sign of my gratitude for their efforts. It really takes the fun out of sending the gift when you have to ask the recipient if they received it yet, when you want it to be a nice surprise!!!
