At Home — Local services in Avon

SELECTION - At Home has a huge selection of just about every category of home decor, furniture, kitchen/dining, towels, bedding, rugs, etc you could want. Even if you're just idea-shopping, this is a good place to start. It's like a cross between Bed Bath and Beyond and Hobby Lobby, magnified...plus furniture - at an "IKEA" size scale. It's a step up in decorative appeal of items from a place like IKEA, plus carrying a lot of types of items that IKEA doesn't.

LOCATION - At Home fills a needed gap in the Avon/Hendricks-Co area of a Home products superstore.

PRICES - The main reason I won't be going back and why I deducted a star from my rating is that the pricing is just too expensive for my wallet. I personally don't want to spend $250 for a nightstand or $100 for a comforter/blanket...

I really like At Home! They have a lot of different styles of home decor ranging from large furniture, rugs, plants, outdoor furniture and items, down to small knick knacks to complete the look. Their prices are generally lower than any other home decor stores (including Walmart - except for trinkets). Sometimes I’ll find better prices at Ross or Homegoods, but that’s a “sometimes” statement, and the other stores often have much less of a selection.

I do not like how fragrant At Home is. It feels like you’re walking into a candle shop, and I have a chemical allergy, and on top of that fragrance isn’t good for anyone in anyway (it messes with your hormones and a plethora of other things... google it :) ). It also is unusually warm...

I recently visited the At Home store and I must say, it was a great experience. The store had a wide variety of home decor items and furniture to choose from. The layout of the store was well-organized, making it easy to browse through the different sections. The staff was also very helpful and friendly, providing excellent customer service. I was able to find everything I needed for my home renovation project. Overall, I would highly recommend the At Home store to anyone looking for affordable and stylish home...
