I travel a lot for work and eat Thai everywhere I go. This was hands down my absolute favorite thus far. I stick with Red Curry Chicken as my go-to comparison for all restaurants I visit. It is absolutely phenomenal at Thai Lanna.
I highly recommend you take advantage of the lunch as well. It comes with house made spring roll and soup of day. I was fortunate to get the chicken noodle soup on my first visit and it was the best soup I've ever had. It was super simple but just packed with flavor. I could've just had that and been satisfied.
Lunch for $7.95 is a steal. I also have had the dinner portion (it's really enough for 2 people) but prefer the lunch because of the soup/spring roll inclusion.
Every time I am in Indianapolis area I go here at least once if not each day I am here. It's a simple, quaint place with exceptional service and food.
I highly recommend that if you like a bit of spice go for the HOT or Thai HOT. Medium heat is fairly mild but i realize this is very...

This was my wife’s and my first time visiting Thai Lanna, and we were thoroughly impressed. While we’re no strangers to Thai cuisine, this experience stood out. The restaurant was clean and well-kept, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.
Our server—listed as M. Salween on the receipt—was incredibly professional, courteous, and kind. She made us feel genuinely welcome, which added a personal touch to our visit.
The Thai tea was outstanding—so much so that my wife ordered one after tasting mine. To our surprise, the second tea was complimentary, which was a lovely gesture.
The food was everything we hoped for: fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. Thai Lanna delivers on all fronts—great service, great food, and a great atmosphere.
Highly recommend this spot if you enjoy authentic Thai cuisine. It’s now at the top of our list for...
Read moreI'm a fan of Thai food and find that I've very seldom been displeased with restaurants that specialize in it. Thai Lanna has proven to be the friendliest establishment of its type and among the friendliest of restaurants I've visited.
I tried their vegetarian Pahd Thai. They don't offer lunch portions on the weekend, so expect the larger dinner serving. You'll leave quite satisfied with the quantity for the price. It was rich and savory with plenty of peanuts, scallions, and bean sprouts. The food was tastefully presented and swift in delivery.
Their mango with sticky rice was absolutely delicious (if you like mango). Sweetened with coconut milk, it was decadently sweet and light. You won't feel guilty about eating it.
Their head chef was a delightful warm lady who takes pride in what she serves, and the servers were professional, attentive, friendly, and...
