Wings Etc. — Restaurant in Avon

Worst experience I've had in years. Wings Etc. is one of my favorite wing places. The food is impeccable, the service is excellent and prompt.

Unfortunately this was not the case this particular one. I had a party of 8 (myself included) arrive at the restaurant at 5:30, they were relatively empty so we were sat immediately. When our server greeted us she informed us that she was new and to please forgive her for any small issues. The majority of us being former services workers ourselves we assured her that wasnt a problem. She was very friendly and pleasant.

Our server got our drink orders and then took our orders. She answered any questions we had and those she could not answer she promptly found out the answers to. Our orders were placed at 5:45, the appetizers came out shortly and then we waited for nearly 30 minutes before our food arrived. During this time our waitress was sat with another table. She seemed to be in the weeds and didn't appear to be recieving any help from any senior employees either.

Our food finally arrived my wings were not tossed. I tried one to see if the sauce was merely soaked in, it was dry to the bone. Since it was what I normally order I knew for a fact it wasnt tossed. When I asked if they'd been tossed she was very apologetic and took them to the door of the kitchen where a senior employee stopped , talked to her,then sent then back to me with the explanation that the sauce was just soaked up into the chicken. I asked for more sauce. She quickly retrieved some. I tossed my own wings. Multiple people at the table didn't receive various sides they had ordered either.

When we finished the meal we had to wait an hour before recieving our checks as well as an additional 30 minutes to have our cards given back to us.The manager came to speak with us and had to be asked to give us a discount. She crouched down next the men at the table rather than address the entire table itself. When I started speaking she came over crouched down next to me and was condescending. As a former restuarant front house manager this was appalling.

We arrived at the restaurant at 5:30 and recieved our receipts at 7:30. The place was never super busy and staff was standing around frequently. Our particular server was very good. The food was still excellent. The kitchen seemed to be having difficulties getting food out at appropriate times. The manager didn't seemed to care about good service and seemed annoyed that we were bothering her. We were given a discount. I'm not sure we'd ever return, which sucks because we meet monthly for dinner and this could have been our spot.

I was really disappointed as I used to live down the street and would come often. In fact at one point in was referring to it as the best run Wings Etc. Maybe it...

Went to pickup my food. Greeted a server at the bar a couple of times, no response. Suddenly she walks into the kitchen, brought a bag of food and asked of my name. And roughly handed the bag to me. My food almost fell on the ground, i struggled to catch it to prevent it from touching the ground. The server walked away without apologizing for the way she handed the food to me and didn't even care the fact that the food almost fell. I asked to speak to a manager, she laughed and walked away. I could hear her talking to others in the kitchen and making inappropriate comments. Suddenly the manager came and said they had bad experience with door dash drivers, so probably the server thought i was a door dash driver. Thats unfortunate. Regardless of who comes to your restaurant, you don't treat them as if is a favor. Ghose people kedp you in business and without them, you have no job. So show some respect. To make things worse, i got home and realized I was missing part of my order. I will personally never recommend any one to this restaurant based on...

I would love to give a 5 star review. I loved going here for lunch with coworkers. My food has always been amazing. Nothing is ever wrong, and always Hot. But today it seemed very different and I felt a little unwanted there. After the order was placed I was ignored the rest of the time. And took way to long to get my food. Once it came out. The guy wouldn't make eye contact or acknowledge I was there. He served my food on the other side of the table away from me. I had to reach for my food! Top it off, my food was COLD. I didnt get to finish at all. Took till I got the bill to get any attention. And I said what was wrong. The food was taken to the back I was told sorry and $2 was taken off my bill... I left hungry and had to stop elsewhere to get food. It's been one of my favorite places to eat. But after going without my other 2 coworkers. I dont think I want to go back...
