Chris saved my sanity today by solving a really nasty web-page loading delay that had defied all my own attempts and my son's attempts to fix it with guidance we found by googling the general problem. Sometimes that works, and sometimes you have to call in a professional! He called me within minutes of my inquiry through Angi and was available right away to do remote troubleshooting. And he shot the trouble. He identified some corrupt files with file checking first, but these proved unrelated to the loading delay. He kept analyzing the problem, found the trouble, and shot it. Life was worth living again. Videos began loading at high definition again. When I went to his Avon storefront I was greeted by a young man named James. He had a couple tables around him with piles of computers literally EVERYWHERE! I knew this was the right place. During the call, I also mentioned the recent Windows 24H2 update issues and SSD problems, but before I could finish, the representative hung up on me.
I found this unprofessional. If they were busy or uninterested in continuing the conversation, a simple “Sorry, I don’t have time right now” would have been more respectful. I also tried calling back but my call was forwarded.
