Haven’t had the best experience here the last couple times we decided to dine in however this evening was one of the worst restaurant experiences I think I have EVER had. First as soon as we walk in the restaurant is freezing! And it is a cold night so it’s no wonder there were very few other diners. We order (2 adults, 2 kids) and all of our food comes out first, ALL the starters and entrees for the adults and no kids food was out! I ordered the Turkey dinner and everything on my plate was cold at least the top few slices of Turkey the potatoes on the outside of the stack the gravy I thought oh maybe because it’s freezing in here until I took a bite of green beans and the inside of bean was ice cold! I tell the waitress and she, I kid you not, took my plate that I already ate off of and put it in the microwave, brings it back out bottom hot as ever, all the ends of every Turkey slice on my plate dried out and a few of the small slices of Turkey so dry I couldn’t even eat them. By this point I don’t even want the food anymore but I try it while it’s at least hot and the gravy is watered down from either the green beans or the stuffing not sure which but it’s not good, the stuffing that was piled under the Turkey looks like someone poured a pot of water on it, I didn’t even dare to try a bite of that. Also had a cup of soup for an app it was not hot either. This might have been my last straw with this place because 73 dollars later I wish we would have just...
Read moreWow the worst I have ever seen. Three of us ordered the everything breakfast which is a hash of all breakfast items and a griddled biscuit cut in half. First they brought out and forgot the eggs. The second time just threw the eggs on the side and a big biscuit that was not halved or griddled. Third time remade it and it looked decent but discovered the biscuit was not halved but griddled on the outside. We decided to just take it and start eating however it was lukewarm. We did not want to send it back again and just dealt with it until I got halfway through and the coldness stated to congeal in my mouth. Ughh I was done. They also completely forgot my piece of mush so I told them to forget it. If that wasn't bad enough they messed up my mom's food too. First her pancakes were completely limp and mushy which she exchanged for toast but then got halfway through her meal to discover that one of the sausages were pink inside The waitress apologized and took her plate to show the manager. They came back and did they would not charge her which was great but they did not return her plate so she could not finish the part that was done which was the hashbrowns and eggs. She just nibbled on the toast and had to be satisfied. Terrible experience we won't be back to...
Read moreThis location used to be fantastic, speedy service, busy and great food. The food is still great but the service has become mediocre at best. With less than half capacity in the dining room and a fairly empty parking lot before 9 am we are asked to wait at the door for 10 minutes (15 and counting at this moment) this time and it was 20 minutes our previous visit. I could drive to the next location in Westlake and be seated in less time or more detrimental to this location is that Perkins is a 5 minute drive across the highway and they seat us immediately. Being in a customer oriented business, I can recognize this as a lack of leadership. If the dining area is empty, why seat people by the cold entry door unless the goal is to discourage more people from coming in and possibly filling your restaurant with paying customers. I may give this location one more chance because our servers have been excellent and we like the food but everytime we do the mood is ruined when we are asked to wait for a seat in an empty dining room. Last week we were at Perkins. Next week we will be as well. We used to come here EVERY week for 10 years or better. Now it is about once per month because we are hoping it gets better. Hope only...
