This Michaels on ming has unfortunately been managed and owned by someone who just doesn't care anymore, the Michaels on Rosedale hwy is a 360 compared to this one, we went to this one because years ago we had a custom frame put on a oil canvas we had purchased and the workers and customer service was excellent, that was unfortunately yeas ago, walking up to this place reminded me of a old western, dust and trash were strewn all over and it looked like someone or a group of people found a place to urinate and management maybe cleaned it a few times then said ah the heck with it, we went inside and spoke to 2 workers and asked them for a few items and they both looked at us like why are you bothering me, and a reply of um if we have that it would be over there in those aisles, look in this day and age the internet is taking over literally everything we do including how we shop, and if places like this want to continue to stay open customer service is the name of the game, Michaels clean up outside and have your workers get familiar with your products, because if those amazing coupons expire and you don't improve customer service your done, there is a gentleman who does the custom frames who is great to work with but I think he...

So there is nothing I love more then a good DIY project! Therefore I thoroughly enjoy any craft store, and it's hard to get me to have any negative feedback if there was any! However I was very disappointed in this particular store in Bakersfield. The merchandise was very dusty and nothing was in the right place. The lady who helped me was helpful but I really feel bad saying this but I regretted asking her for help as she followed me through the store to mainly talk about herself and tell me they were out of products that clearly were just on the wrong shelf. Also I don't like being rushed when a place is still open for 10 min. I think that I should be able to shop without being rushed until close. The whole " attn. Customers we are closing in 20 min please come check out" is very aggravating. Especially when the workers start chasing you to the front as well. If you close at 8 then let me shop until 8. Great Service helping to restore a Victorian Memorial picture. But when I tryed to find out about it and how it was coming along, I tryed calling and all they did was hang up on time after time . The would pick the phone and hang up on me. This day they hung up on me abt 14 times. That day was Oct 17, 2019. I was calling between 10:30 am 11:16 am. They refused to let me talk to anyone. When a business will not pick up the phone and the hang up on you over and over, well you never take your framing to this business. So at this point I don't know if my Antique Memorial picture is done, destroyed, I don't know because they won't pick the phone up to ley me know. I will never ever deal with tbese people again.
