If I could give a 0 star I would. We purchased 2 Piper sofas back in Feb, 2023. We told our sales associate Lisa that we wanted a standard version of the Piper sleeper sofa they had on display. When we were ready to make the order we reviewed the order with our sales associate, Lisa, the paperwork said "piper sleeper sofa" We asked her if that was the correct way to order standard sofas since we did not want sleepers, and both Lisa and another associate assured us that this was just what the sofas were called, and that our order for standard sofas request would be be recorded elsewhere. Months later our sofas arrived and both were sleepers. We called the store and spoke to Jose the manager. He tried to sell us on the couches that we didn't order, insisting that we got a "really good deal" for sleeper sofas. However we did not want the sleepers, and we asked him to fix the order. We're then told we have to pay additional fees to have it corrected even though it wasn't our fault, plus we had to accept a lesser quality material since the sofas were "no longer on sale". Now 6 months later we finally have our delivery date scheduled and confirmed, and we the day goes by and they never delivered our sofas. Supposedly the delivery truck showed up hours sooner than the delivery window they confirmed, and left without delivering our sofas when no one was home. I was home during their scheduled time, and my husband was at work and couldn't receive their calls. They didn't deliver at the agreed upon time, so now we have to reschedule a delivery date and they are telling us weeks out. This La Z Boy store, from sales associate to manager to delivery scheduler, has been extremely unprofessional and difficult to deal with. Read moreDon't think you'll get better customer service by shopping La-Z-Boy. It's actually the worst I've ever dealt with. They sold me a manufacturer defect sofa that broke right at the year mark. I've called several times and they will not Call me back.. Their technician came to my home and verified It is a defective couch missing a bolt where it broke. He also said that the manufacturer does not like him saying anything is defective he also went on to say he could charge me $85 an hour to repair it Lazyboy charges $120 the whole ordeal was shady at least. He did not have much knowledge on these sofas. His name was Mario he admitted to not working on these sway reclining sofas very much either and wanted a shop repair. I've tried so hard to reach customer service for guidance on the matter but Desiree H the manager refused to ever call me. I filed a complaint with the BBB and now I will be hiring my own Tech to open the sofa and gather all the proof needed to escalate this complaint even further. Me moved it from the family room to the living room and decided it needed to be a bit bigger, so we returned to LaZBoy today to buy and additional section to add to the middle. Our saleman Jose Granados was very helpful. He pulled up our original order, showed up the different pieces, gave us the measurements. Our fabric was out of stock so he called the warehouse and found out there was enough fabric in stock to make our one piece, so we ordered it. He went above and beyond what we expected to make us happy. You won’t get that service anywhere else. You also can’t come back to the furniture store a year and a half after purchase and add a piece to your sectional unless yoy but it from LaZBoy. We are loyal customers of LaZBoy.
