I shop there almost every week. My kids and I were victims of a house fire. We lost everything but the clothes on our backs. So devastating and 3 kids still in school was rough. My son came home crying the kids at school teased him because i washed his uniform everday but they knew it was the same everyday. One evening i stopped at the goodwill in Owings Mills. The staff was the best Im in tears..I had 100 bucks and this was put togethers by friends this is what they raised and i was greatful. There were so many nice clothing and shoes I drowned in them. One of the staff members got me a cart and said take your time. I told the young lady ages and sizes of my kids oh and myself. I purchased almost an entire wardrobe for us. To make this long heartfilling story This goodwill store made the difference in our lives. Thank you also to the donaters. Without them these nice pieces would be all for nothing. My experience has been nothing but rude and unprofessional. Everything from donating to trying to purchase has been rude. When donating no one came out to help me they expected me to carry it into their building. When trying to purchase they were rude. You can no longer purchase bulk items and them hold them from less than 2 hours in order for you to return with a vehicle to accommodate them. Instead of being nice about it they were rude with "it's a law on the book and I am not getting wrote up for it" the rule is fine but post it and don't be rude. After living in many places and spending many hundreds and donating the same. I will no longer support them here. No donations no spending because I deserve to be talked to with manners and treated as if my donations are appericiated. Corporate was no help in the matter and was far from helpful when called to complain about...

Literally, neither of the 2 people I worked with have responded to emails. I felt unheard during a meeting with a staff person. I've only received 1 correspondence about the resources I applied over the course of over 2 months. I hope I'm the exception to the rule and slipped through a crack. They didn't work for me but hopefully, they'll work for you. Parking and traffic can be awful in the area; so, prepare should you choose to go to the resource hub downtown.
