My kids and I have to walk half an hour to get to Dypski Park, so the fact that we still do it all the time is a testament to just how GREAT this playground is. Since it was remodeled last year, it has become one of the best options in southeast Baltimore. There are several play areas. There is a more traditional play structure that is geared to slightly younger kids, with a pair of slides, and multiple ways to climb up. The real centerpiece of the playground, though, is a climbing structure that is kind of hard to explain. Ropes tied to a central spire connect out to several different outer nodes, each one with different play options (slides, a scavenger hunt). There are an endless number of ways to play on it. Finally, there’s a geometric climbing structure on top of the Astro-turf hill, which doubles as a fun slide on its own. My toddler loves to swing, and there are both regular swings and baby swings. Fortunately they are also in the best-shaded part of the park, so it’s comfortable to be there for awhile. The other play parts of the park can be pretty sun-baked, so skin protection is a must.

Great place for kids to play! There is plenty of attractions for the kids while being entirely surrounded by a fence.

Great park. Only thing that could make it better would be bathrooms and them turning in the water fountain.

Great spot post renovations. Not terribly big and can get a little crowded but I really appreciate the variety of things for all ages. Great rope climbing options, swings, etc. As an added bonus I really liked how soft/padded the non-concrete surfaces were underneath...
