Mount Royal Soaps — Local services in Baltimore

What a gem! This little shop smelled deliciously exciting upon entering the door. I got a chance to smell the custom-made soaps. They all smelled amazing and true to their name. I liked the wide variety of soap options they offered but ultimately fell in love with Thrilla in vanilla, wine bar, and haulin oats. I also purchased the alpaca fiber wrapped soap which is basically a bar of soap that can also act as a loofah. This shop had several unique items and plenty of self-care products to include bath bombs, shaving butters, sugar scrubs and more. I loved all of the products but some of the prices did not fit into my budget. The interior of the building was very stylish and the staff was friendly. Street parking was limited but not totally impossible. I look forward to supporting this store in the future.

It FIGures, I love all things Figs! For me, this sweet-smelling, soothing candle scent immediately took me back to the seaside coasts on the island of Sicily, Italy, where we frequently vacay! At this moment, the candle is burning and with my eyes closed, I simply got lost wandering through a vast field of fig trees under the Sicilian sun. Is there anything better than that? FIG-GET ABOUT IT!

Recently, I was searching for local businesses with ethical practices that offer vegan products in sustainable packaging. Imagine my absolute glee when I found Mt. Royal Soaps! So far, everything we've tried has been lovely. Special shout-out to the Essential Cream; finally, the perfect remedy for my winter hands! (And also every day of the year :-D) There are so many thoughtful and caring details woven throughout Mt. Royal Soaps' business practices, and their principles and community-mindedness are inspiring. Plus, even when an order went MIA, they were highly responsive and immediately replaced it - great customer care! I'm delighted to support them moving forward, and excited to try their workshops as well. The absolute icing on the MRS cake is that they have a couple of cats on staff - LOVE
