Title: An Unforgettable Experience at Koshary Corner Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the pleasure of dining at Koshary Corner, and I must say that it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming ambiance that set the tone for the entire evening. First and foremost, the food at Koshary Corner was absolutely outstanding. As a fan of Egyptian cuisine, I was thrilled to find a restaurant that specializes in koshary, one of my favorite dishes. The flavors were authentic, and every bite transported me back to the streets of Cairo. The koshary itself was a delightful blend of perfectly cooked rice, lentils, pasta, and the most flavorful tomato sauce I have ever tasted. The addition of crispy onions and a tangy vinegar dressing added the perfect finishing touches. Each ingredient was fresh and of the highest quality, and it was evident that a lot of care and attention went into every dish. The menu at Koshary Corner offers a wide range of options to cater to different preferences and dietary needs. Whether you're a vegetarian, vegan, or a meat lover, you'll find something to satisfy your cravings. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating, happily answering any questions I had and making recommendations based on my preferences. The service throughout the evening was impeccable. The waitstaff was attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring that my dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. The atmosphere of Koshary Corner is inviting and comfortable, with tasteful decorations that reflect the rich Egyptian culture. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant environment to enjoy a meal. The seating arrangements were well-spaced, allowing for privacy while still maintaining a lively ambiance. Another highlight of my visit to Koshary Corner was the attention to detail. From the beautiful presentation of each dish to the thoughtful touches like complimentary mint tea at the end of the meal, it was clear that the restaurant takes great pride in providing a memorable dining experience. The prices were also reasonable, considering the high quality of the food and the level of service provided. Overall, my experience at Koshary Corner exceeded all expectations. It is a hidden gem that deserves recognition for its exceptional food, warm hospitality, and attention to detail. If you're looking for an authentic Egyptian culinary experience, I highly recommend visiting Koshary Corner. I can't wait to return and explore more of their delicious menu offerings.

We visited Koshary Corner inside R. House, a vibrant food hall with a variety of vendors. I ordered the Egyptian Breakfast Feast ($16.85), which came with two whole falafels (cut in half), pita bread, a side salad, french fries, and eight different sauces. The falafel was definitely the highlight—crispy, well-seasoned, and especially tasty with the garlic sauce and tabouli. The tabouli was fresh and flavorful, easily the best of the sauces. The garlic sauce had an unusual appearance, while the hummus lacked the expected creaminess. Other components were less impressive. The pita bread was dry and a bit stale. The french fries were fine flavor-wise, but they were supposed to be roasted potatoes (see attached website photo). I was confused why french fries would be on a “breakfast” dish, but now it made sense. The side salad had a flavor that didn’t sit well with me personally, though that could be subjective. The variety of 8 sauces added a fun element, even if most were average. Food was ready in about 10 minutes, ordered via kiosk, and you get a text when it’s done. There wasn’t much interaction with the staff, as everything is handled pretty efficiently through the kiosk system. I’ve included photos of the menu, which also shows weekly deals and a kids menu—a nice touch for families or budget-friendly visits. While I might not order this specific platter again, the falafel and tabouli were strong enough to make me want to try another dish. Koshary Corner is conveniently located inside R. House, which offers plenty of seating and a free cold water station—a small but appreciated detail.

It has been over a year since I was last in Egypt. Today Koshary Corner transported me back, to a small table in the shade by the side of the road with motorcycles buzzing past. Thank you for that. If you appreciate the texture of your food, then you must try koshary and you must try it here. The unfolding flavors of this dish is only outdone by the variety of textures your palet will encounter as you make your way through pasta and rice and lentil and crispy onions and bean. Wow. I first had this dish in Egypt and having it here at Koshary Corner did not disappoint me. The place is small, tucked in the corner of “R House” and the service is extremely good and helpful. I used the self-serve kiosk to see the current menu. The order was made quickly and I was on my way to my table to examine my prize. The spicy seasoning sause is liquid gold. I don’t like my koshary too wet. This was almost too much, but not over the line. As to the hot sauce. This was not as hot as in Cairo but it was delicious and added exactly what it was supposed to for this dish. The crispy onions are another keystone of this dish. I watched them making them - I could eat them by the pound! It reminded me of a excellent meal many thousands of miles from Baltimore. I highly recommended this restaurant. Last thing, I bought some Turkish coffee. Never had that before. Excellent! Thanks for a great lunch.

This lady is overwhelmed single handedly serving up to customers. Also not the best hygienic wise. She definitely needs help with orders to make them right. Sorry not able to respond to you directly from page hence updating my prior comment. As a positive feedback please accept the following: In order to greet, receive, process and complete orders during peak hours, you absolutely need two people; I understand small businesses look for avenues to cut costs but this is no way to run an operation when the turnaround between placing and receiving orders is about 20 mins in a fast food joint. Also, keep your sauce bottles topped. You wouldn't want to try to squeeze the last drop thumping on your counter-top with sauce all over the surface where food is prepped and the other residual bit on bread carrying over stuff from what's on counter-top even though you may claim your food prepping surface is clean. This cross contamination is serious for people with food allergies. I am definitely not coming back cos I felt queasy right after I had a meal there not too long back. The place started off well but with time the service is not the best.

Ma'am I don't need you to buy me another food as a gift. There wont be a next time!! I wish I had a camera to click the photos that evening and how toiled the lady was thumping the empty sauce bottles on the countertop to get the last bit out and making a mess around. Also wishful thinking on your part having a platform to review customers. You see, customers are getting a service rendered for a price, not the...
