I've lived in the Queen Anne for a year now and I love it! The Mount Vernon area is really nice, people are friendly, and there are plenty of things to do. I work at Johns Hopkins and the short walk (~5 min) to Penn Station to catch the shuttle (as well as the MARC, AMTRAK, etc) is perfect. I lived in the county for two years and commuting was the worst. IN ADDITION, I paid about $150 more each month. With the price of rent, the convenience to work, dining options, and cheap parking, it was worth the move. The facilities are clean, packages are properly taken care of, and everyone in the office is friendly. Maintenance requests are quickly taken care of, and if not, Katie is on top of it. Also, even though I work most of the time the office is open, all of the leasing agents know me by face and my dog, making it a personal experience. The only major adjustment is that I live on the Charles Street side and had to get used to city noises (but that should be a given). I never hear my neighbors and hopefully they don't hear my vocal puppy! I plan to renew until my...
Read moreSuper nice and friendly staff. Apartments are nice, renovated and have high ceilings. However, we could not open the windows for the whole year we lived here. In addition, this place is a rat’s heaven. The backyard behind the building it filled with rats of all shapes and sizes. We had a few of them sneaking into the apartment which was extremely annoying. They assisted us with pest control but we kept getting mice. Also, the common areas are not always clean. Some neighbors do not follow the rules of the trash room and just leave the trash outside the trash chute. Also, in the laundry room, some neighbors would just take others clothes our of the machines to do their laundry instead of waiting. Another thing is, the toilet paper holder fill on the first week we moved here. We called maintenance, they fixed it, but it fill again shortly after. We had to call them multiple times for that particular issue but we gave up because every time they fix it it just breaks shortly...
Read moreLiving at Queen Anne has truly been such a pleasant experience! I’ve been here for over 3 years. Moving here from New York, I quickly fell in love with the warm sense of community especially in this building. Marcus, in leasing, has been incredible, always going above and beyond to make things feel like home. Whether it’s handling packages, offering help, or even organizing thoughtful events like birthday shout-outs and fun contests, he genuinely creates a family-like atmosphere.
The maintenance and management team here are also amazing. They’re super responsive, especially with packages and handling little hiccups that occasionally happen. It feels great knowing they’re always there, ready to help and ensure things run smoothly.
Honestly, Queen Anne feels like home, thanks largely to Marcus and the fantastic team here. I’m genuinely grateful to call...
