Mother's Natural Grocery — Local services in Bandon

Ok, so we read all these glowing 5 star reviews for amazing deli bar that had vegan options. We were struggling to find many vegan friendly restaurants, so we thought this place would be a perfect place to grab some dinner to go.

Well unfortunately, ownership has changed and the new owners do not have a deli or a hot bar or any pre-made food. Kind of a bummer because it sounds like the deli was a hit for people passing through town or having a vacation in Bandon.

So I'm mainly writing this review to help others have their expectations set correctly. This is just a natural grocery store, and yes they have a decent selection of items in a small store, but they do not have any pre-made food like the older reviews say.

I really hope the new owners consider adding a deli of some kind with vegan options, because it was clearly a hit...

This place is fantastic! We are on a road trip down the coast from WA and are vegan, its pretty hard to find ready to eat food.Everything in the deli case looked so good and almost all of it turned out to be vegan! The lady working was so kind and helpful showing us everything we could eat and telling us all about the ingredients. They even had vegan jalapeño poppers! We took everything back to our hotel and eat all of it in like 5 minutes. Just stopped by on the way out of town and loaded up again. Wonderful stop!!!! Found this lovely natural food store as a stop on our coastal drive. It was perfect. Absolutely delicious deli that was 90% vegan - we got shepherds pie, Reuben, and orange tempeh. All vegan - and all full of amazing whole food & healthy flavor. So nourishing. Also loaded up on groceries - though the shop is small, it has everything and more. Even local potatoes and lions mane mushrooms!! Wonderful bulk section with a great selection. Staff was incredibly friendly & helpful. Really can’t say enough good about this place.
