I started doing business with them 20 years ago. Back then I was very satisfied...felt they were fair and reasonable. I purchased free rhodium for LIFETIME on probably a dozen pieces of jewelry. Stan's recently has changed their policy where it is no longer free for a lifetime. They state that the rhodium costs alot more. That's cool, I get the increased cost. BUT THIS IS FOR NEW PURCHASES. NOT THOSE THAT WERE SOLD FOR A LIFETIME!!! Everytime I go in to get my free rhodium dip, I have to argue with them. Now they do dip my items for free with the hassle of arguing. But I have to tell you this last time one of my rings was given back to me with a diamond missing. Now I can't prove they took it out but it took them 20 minutes to tell me it was missing after they dipped it. A professional jeweler would have looked at it and inspected it prior to taking it to the back room. Again, I can't prove it but makes me wonder if this was their way of recouping their increased cost of rhodium. Moral of the story... BEWARE!
UPDATE:. I called the owner as the response to my post requested. He had no clue about the post or the response and told me to call the store. They had no clue either. They took a message and told me they would return my call. It's been several weeks with no response. Their "sorry" means nothing...just a show for the reviews. Even more...
Read moreHonestly, you don't even deserve a star. recently brought my wedding ring in and you had it for over two months!!!! It needed the head replaced and some baguettes added in on the sides. Not a single person reached out to me. I had to call every time I wanted to find out the status of what was going on with my ring. Terrible Customer Experience!!! Then you proceed after having it over 2 months that I can either add my diamond on a new setting or upsell me to a different ring. So, my choice was continue waiting around for how many more months for you to figure out if you can fix it or upsell me because "My Ring Was Made with Poor Quality" she said. Who says that?? Might I add years ago you SOLD ME this Poor-Quality Ring!!!! AWFUL!!
Well, this poor-quality ring was fixed in 3 weeks at Quality Jewelers. It's gorgeous!! I'm appalled by how you handle the situation, and I will never recommend anyone to your establishment. I was told they " don't write down the weight just the amount paid " ... After the owner proceeded to scream at me on the phone that he was fair and he didn't want a bad reputation, and he has a 25.00 guarantee If he is ever undersold ( which who would know as they keep no records) .... He then hung up on me to which I had to call back ... I would never step foot in this place again, buyer/seller beware ... You are not getting your value anyone honest would tell you and not be so defensive.. Shame on me for not being a better consumer ...
