The owner was very kind. I stopped in while visiting the area just to have a look around and ended up coming at an inconvenient time, but even so he never rushed me or seemed irritated. I bought a normal copy of It since I don't actually own a physical copy and he was nice enough to write a note in it for me when asked (I'm doing a Stephen King book w/ a note for each state I visit on my road trip) :) I appreciated him playing along with me and I wish his bookstore all the best! If you're a King fan (even if you don't have the money to drop on a signed copy or 1st edition) you should stop in. Read moreWe discovered this place on the Stephen King Tour, and I was in love! A bookstore dedicated to Stephen King books, signed books, rare books, and memorabilia? I was in heaven....i picked up a few souvenirs, and spoke to Gerald who is very kind and helpful. I was even allowed to have my picture taken with the actual axe from The Shining movie! We found it in October 2021…but it was closed…I reached out in 2022 via email to Gerald who responded and was willing to meet my husband and I when we came back to Maine in 2022 EVEN THOUGH THE STORE REMAINED CLOSED!!!
