This is one of the few stores that I feel comfortable saying that the employees are often wrong. Not only are they often wrong, they are often bullies. I have had more than one occasion where there was a mistake in the system, and I had to deal with a store employee trying to bully me into accepting the mistake. The first time, the manager was competent enough to actually check the shelf and admitted their mistake (while the cashier tried to tell me how wrong I was), The second time, a different manager refused to actually check the shelf at all. She only corrected the price when I made it clear I was not going to leave until she either checked the shelf herself, or fixed the price. As it was, she still refused to check the price on the shelf, or even the picture of the shelf tag that I took for her. Instead of spending 30 seconds figuring out what the price actually was, she spent five minutes treating me like I had browbeat her into under charging me. She was so committed to being rude to a customer that she literally refused to do her job and figure out the correct price and actually fixing it in...

I am assuming it is because it’s a wretched place to work, but they will absolutely refuse to charge the correct price, if you let them. This is my receipt, and this is the item price as listed on the shelf. I had to fight with two employees in order to get them to sell me these art pads of paper at the correct price. The manager refused to check the actual price on the shelf, and instead tried to tell me I had the wrong pads (I didn’t, as you can tell from the item number on the receipt and shelf tag) and when she finally realized she wasn’t going to be able to bully me into letting them overcharge me, she finally fixed the price while pretending that she was making an exception for me by, once again, NOT OVER CHARGING ME.
I imagine that ocean state is not the greatest place to work, but not liking your job is not an excuse for trying to bully a customers into paying more for an item than...

I called ahead to ask if they had a tv well mount in stock. She quickly said no. An hour later I went there and right away saw 2 different types if thre item I was looking for . They were on the shelf at the front of the store on an end cap within eyesight of thre store employee I spoke to on the phone. The general manager should know that I purchased the same model at best buy right before I went to Job lot,. I hadnt planned on going to any store other than Job lot that day.
