We went there saturday and it was super disappointing! Not only did the isles have stuff all over the floor, we had 4 items that we got because there were big yellow handwritten Signs that said they were a sale price, when we got up to the register the "manager" didnt honor 3 of them. She honored the fourth one only because it was only a $2 difference and the item was half broken... The guy she was training was very friendly and nice she was not. She clearly did not want to be there. Her reasoning for not honoring the prices were they weren't exactly the items,example: sign said iron $16.99, she stated because it didn't say the brand name they couldnt honor the price on the sign when the entire area had all the same irons there, But the ones that the sign had on them definatly weren't it because they didn't ring up that way... She pulled all the signs and threw them away and told us that we had to pay what it rang up as. They need a better person...
Read moreI had a couple of damaged air conditioners I returned the other day. Once I got home and unboxed them the air conditioners themselves inside the box both had looked like they had fallen off a pallet. They had dents and sons everywhere and the condenser coils and fins were bent in. This did not happen at Ollie's because the boxes were in perfect shape. So just keep in mind if you are buying something like an air conditioner there is a good chance it is an item that could have been reconditioned and repackaged for resell? I don't know. Maybe Ollie's buys a truck load of these items on the cheap and then resells them at discounted prices not knowing if they are damaged? In just saying you might open the box and check them before buying or taking them home. In saying that the manager and cashiers were easy to work with on returning them and apologized several times. Read moreI called the Bartlesville Ollie’s a few times in the last two weeks. Joshua was very helpful, friendly and courteous. Joshua told me the days their truck comes to the store and to call back the next day. He also offered to call me if the item came to the store. He is a valuable employee to Ollie’s. However, I also called the Tulsa Ollie’s a few times and the lady that answered at that store was rude and said they didn’t have time to look for specific items. She was the same person I spoke to each time I phoned in the last two weeks. I didn’t get her name, but I drive approximately the same distance from my home to either Ollie’s and the Bartlesville Ollie’s will be getting my business...
