This was at most the worst experience ever at the location at 5915 BlueBonnet Blvd #1403, Baton Rouge, La. The clerks were very rude and disrespectful. When we went for a fitting, my nephew was measured for a regular jacket, even though he is 6' +, and the pants were 3" too short, by their measurements. When voicing our concerns, the clerk started snapping her neck and proceeded to tell us that his jacket length was the style, his pants were measured by the outseam not the inseam and the shirt was to big. He in fact looked like PeeWee Herman. When a middle aged clerk took over, she delayed her lunch to accommodate us and to make the necessary changes by ordering the right sizes from another store. For the second fitting, the jacket was changed to a long and at some point the pants were re-measured. When we picked up the ensembles for the wedding, the pants legs were not even, his groomsman 6'7", pants were too short, vest too short, showing his belt and shirt which was too big, the groom's brother 5'8", pants were too long, at this point it was too late for the Saturday wedding to leave the attire to be readjusted. I think that the cost was extremely high for some rentals and the attitudes of the clerks was appalling. I think they should be refunded their money, the clerk also reassured us that the prices would be discounted, which was in fact a lie. There were a few other dissatisfied customers in the store, their attitudes should be reprimanded and reviewed by management, but who am I ? Just an unhappy Auntie, for the price they paid at the store, they could have bought from somewhere else a better looking outfit and took it home for memoirs. We have 10 out of 11 people who went to pick up their rentals and 5 of them have to come back including the father of the bride on the actual wedding day when we had other plans for him. The ONLY thing that fit on the groom, were the shoes & the tie. The associate tried to talk him into his size 44x46 pants when he is a size 40. So now, instead of spending time with his siblings coming in from out of town today, he will be driving an hour to Baton Rouge to fix men's wearhouse mistake. One groomsmen in Houston paid $319 when it was originally supposed to be $230 with tax. Another groomsmen took a picture of his tux that the associate in Baton Rouge said 'Oh, its supposed to be like that'. If I could attach a picture I would. Y'all would be absolutely EMBARASSED that an employee told him this was supposed to be correct. Miranda, one of the managers at the BR location, told us that we only got $20 refund when it was supposed to be $60. We bought a suit from y'all with the shopping spree, and spent $350 on top of that (which the suit pants were a size 40 and the rental pants were 44x46). And THIS is the service that we get. When the groom walked out with what looks like parachute pants, the associate tried to talk him into getting it. It was like he had to argue with her to make her reorder. She didn't want to go through the work to do it. We chose y'all because of the convenience and I actually worked for David's Bridal for four years. I do wedding planning on the side. Read moreNo one likes leaving negative comments. Unfortunately, I must say this Mens Wearhouse provided the worst customer service experience I've ever received at any business establishment. The even sadder part is it wasn't the sales associates, it was the lack of leadership from their manager named Kenya.
My party of 12 wedding party had just spent $2400+ with this company this past weekend for my wedding. Being the groom I was told I was eligible to receive a $400 shopping spree that could be used along side any promotions they have available.
After finding a few things I wanted, the manager (Kenya) stated that the promotions disclosed with a HUGE RED SIGN wouldn't apply to my items. Another associate in her store stated they would. Kenya then later discovered that her own associate was correct. She decided to go help other customers and extend my wait time an extra 30 mins while she talked about how long she had been with the company and she can do anything.
After waiting patiently for now an hour, Kenya came back and discovered that I was using the $400 shopping spree cash to purchase my items, she told me she was going to have to MANUALLY change everything I wanted to original price. Then stated she would be right back to do that. After another 10 mins of waiting, I professionally disclosed my anger and dissatisfaction and left the store.
For future customers, DO NOT SHOP HERE! They will say whatever they can to earn your business, and do nothing to keep it. Have a blessed...
