Mr Goldman and Sons — Local services in Baton Rouge

Me and my son was walking around in Baton Rouge Mall yesterday, when I saw Mr.Goldman jewelry store, seeing it reminded me of back home in New Orleans when I used to go there when it was located in the LakeForest Mall in New Orleans East. I always love shopping at Mr. Goldman and yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting his son Mr.Ron who took the time out to chat with me about the good old days of back home in New Orleans, I also told Mr.Ron about one time I was there and Master P was standing right next to me purchasing some jewelry, talking about those times almost brought me to tears.... I always loved shopping at Mr.Goldman especially for monogram jewelry which I still have to this day....it's the Best Jewelry Place I know and it will always hold a special place it my heart !!!!!!!! #Forever A Loyal...

I went in to get a ring repair. The salesman wouldn’t even hear what I wanted before offering me to purchase another ring. I kept saying I don’t need an another ring. He kept ignoring my request for a repair. They are bullies for female shoppers alone. I ended up purchasing a ring I did not need plus he tried to charge me for repairs he said would be free. After arguing my point he then decided to give me free earrings again something else I didn’t need or want. I really just wanted my ring fix and return the new one and earrings but of course no refunds. I feel they take advantage of women shoppers when they are alone. I kept saying no but he acted like I couldn’t get a repair without a purchase. After I get my repaired ring back I don’t think I will be shopping...

I went in Saturday to look for a wedding band for my husband for our 2 yr anniversary and the customer service is just absolutely amazing!! I went back into the store Sunday (yesterday) and they welcomed me back with smiles and I was able to get my husband sized. They talked and joked with us. I asked if I could get my ring cleaned (it was not bought from them) and they said sure, it was SPARKLING CLEAN!! I’ve never shopped at Mr. Goldman’s, yet alone been in one, but they have customers now!! My husband and I have been in the customer service industry for over 8 years and we talked about how wonderful are. We didn’t spend money there yet but they didn’t treat us any different. I can tell it’s not about the money they genuinely enjoy they present and future...
