As I respond to the owner, I must state: honesty is what I live by. Making false claims is not who I am, and those who know me will trust this review. Reviews exist to help consumers make informed decisions.
First, the owner never mentioned that the material on my custom ring would fade over time. It faded in just one month. Now, he claims otherwise, but that is simply not true.
Second, he did not replace the material even once. We declined his offer to redo the same poor-quality work because we didn’t want to go through the same problem again. He even gave us his word that when the finish came off, he’d replace it — but who spends over $4,000 only to keep running back for repairs?
Third, a local jeweler inspected the ring and confirmed the work was faulty. He stated that he has never used that material and would never recommend it.
Fourth, the owner claims he sold us a $5,500 ring for $4,000. We had it appraised — it’s worth exactly $4,000. If you are selling that ring for $5,500, you are overcharging customers.
Yes, he gave us a loaner, but only because the ring he promised wasn’t ready — not once, but twice. Both promised timelines were broken. That is why we received a loaner.
Yes, I returned the certificate for the loaner — why would I keep a 10k certificate when my ring is 14k? Speaking of certificates, after making our final payment, the owner promised to mail ours. A month later, we still have not received it.
Because of his lack of professionalism, integrity, and honesty, we went to a local jeweler who appraised the ring, provided a reputable certificate, and applied a plating that shines — and will not come off like the one from The Jewelry Fix.

Read moreMall of Louisiana - Baton Rouge, La. Is a wonderful place to shop, eat and just visit. The surrounding area is very pleasant, with a scenic view while driving. The people are nice. The outside court of the Mall has such a "calming and relax feel".
The stores are lovely, while browsing or shopping. Such a clean and comfortable environment, while shopping for yourself, friends and family.
Ladies! it's an adventure. 👌
I really like the food court, it has enjoyable foods. Also, the food court has a large "carousel" that is parent-kid friendly. It's very nice.
The Mall of Louisiana has two-level shopping, with over 180 units of shopping. It is quite spacious, so wear your most comfortable shoes. 🌝.👣
You can find many great bargains, of course, with proof of purchase. You can get hassle-free returns or refunds on purchases.
So, next time you are driving or traveling to Baton Rouge, Don't forget to stop by for a pleasant experience.
Finally, I love shopping during the Fall, Winter and Christmas Season, simply beautiful. The Mall of Louisiana has such a cool interesting feel of excitement.
Unfortunately, the Covet Pandemic and other weather disasters has changed things. However, it's still a nice "get- away, to get-away" for a while. 🙂
I hope you will enjoy your visit. Stay safe and alert.

Read moreI don’t normally give bad reviews because I always like a business to be able to remedy a problem before anything. However, there is a bigger issue here. We used to go to the Mall of Louisiana quite frequently. Since moving it has been about 5 years since I’ve last been there. The atmosphere is definitely not the same. It seems like the attention to detail they used to have is no longer there. There were several stores closed down, and all of the other amazing shops they used to have moved. I understand the economy plays a huge role in that factor, it was just disappointing.
The issue that I feel is most alarming is what I observed. What was very surprising is that there were clusters of men (10-15 in number)gathered around in various places on the strip outside (not talking to each other—just watching everyone), and I didn’t see a single police officer in sight. It honestly made me feel very uneasy. I’m not saying that they were definitely up to no good, but with the rise in human trafficking….you can never be too observant or careful. The numerous large vans parked in the back of BJ’s restaurant didn’t make me feel any better. This makes me so sad because I’ve always enjoyed going to the Mall of Louisiana. To be honest, after this experience, I have no...
