Iām gonna be as respectful as I can when I say Amy Moore is by far the WORST PERSON. My fiancĆ© went and bought a new ring for our engagement a couple days after I took it in for my resize. (Immediately after being proposed too I noticed the crack in my center diamond!) When I came in I asked for it to be check and Amy told me very rudely it was just a feather. When coming in after waiting for the resize I asked two other employees to check the crack, which they both said it seemed very suspicious. Those employees wanted it checked by the jeweler the next day as āheā wasnāt there for the day anymore. The next morning I get a called at 8:30am from Amy very rudely again telling me āI told you it wasnāt a crack and it was a featherā Iāve since taken it to be check by another Fred Meyers jeweler who confirmed right away it was indeed a crack! Let me also say this ring is completely under a life time warranty! Instead of simply just offering to fix the ring Amy has continued to go out of her way to be unkind and put a sour taste in my mouth about the whole thing! Go Amy!!

In December I had the Battle Ground Fred Meyers Jewelry department put a new diamond in my wife's wedding ring. I am satisfied, but I got two different quotes from two different employees. I took the lower quote.
I took the ring back right after Christmas 2020 to see what it would cost to expand the ring size from 5 to 6. I was quoted $30 since I'd just spent nearly $400 on a new diamond. They told me to come back in a few weeks as they were slammed.
I brought the ring back yesterday and was quoted over $100. I walked.
This kind of inconsistency makes me wonder why the employees aren't quoting the same costs for the same project.
It feels like bait-n-switch and the manager who quoted me over $100 to re-size the ring said, "Well, we have some new employees, so that's what's it's going to cost you now."
I left disappointed and will take my wife's ring elsewhere.
I even wonder if they'll see this review.
I won't do business there again. If you do, get in writing first or you'll...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLarge selection of jewelry. One employee Amy was not friendly at all, although tried to be helpful. Closed a case and gave me my ID back before we had decided we were done looking at rings in that case. Told my girlfriend she was using the wrong ring sizer (wider bands) that I had just handed her since it matched the rings we were actively wearing. Pushed the Diamond and Designer event on us immediately, giving us pamphlets and asking for my cell number to sign us up for the event. The other employee Ella that we interacted with was much more friendly, although didn't seem to want to help us find and look at jewelry, rather just allowing us to browse and talk a bit before going back to her coworkers and...
