I was done shopping at Fred Meyers yesterday and noticed the Starbucks inside the store was still open so I figured Iād go get a drink before leaving home. I wanted a hot latte because I had a sore throat and wanted something warm and soothing. I walked up to the gal working there who was wearing a bandana of some sort and she rudely asked ādo you want water? We close in 8 minutesā. I was a little thrown off because normally baristas donāt just ask if you want water? I told her that I wanted a latte and if I could buy one. She said āum i donāt know, it depends what drink you want.ā I told her I wanted a hot latte and she just stood there and not replying which made things so awkward. So I asked her āis it just easier to make an iced coffee?ā And she said āyes that would be easier.ā Instead of arguing I just told her we can do that but terrible customer service. If youāre still open, you should accommodate the customer especially since they are paying you for the drink. The drink also didnāt taste good. The shot tasted watered down. For $6, wasnāt worth it. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love this little Starbucks! It's a nice quiet sheltered area compared to the rest of the store, and the employees are always nice in my experience. Particularly Jayden, she's always working her best and spreading kindness to all of her customers. (Has wonderful style too! I always have something to compliment her on!)
My one minor "complaint" would be that there's usually only one person working at a time while I'm here, which does leave the service a bit slow, but I'd rather get individualized service and good-quality items than have it be rushed. I'm happy about my experiences at...
