DR.FOX WAS VERY RUDE, UNSYMPATHETIC, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND MOST OF ALL UNAPOLOGETIC THE WORST SERVICES I'VE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!
I would like too give a 0 star but because they dont have that I can't so today going to the er because of the great experience I usually get and of course the cleanliness of the hospital. Dr. Fox who was there around 4pm was very rude Inconsiderate and not very helpful I went there for chest pains and because I went the the emergency 1 day prior too today he told me that there is not much he can do too make me comfortable his words exactly I told him I don't want magic I just want my pain to stop then he says because I was fully examined from the other hospital that he trust there is nothing serious going on with my health which was music to my hears. However, my body was saying otherwise although he was willing too keep me there at the hospital you can tell he really wanted me to go home because he kept saying and I quote "Im not trying to be RUDE" at least four times and explaining why he thinks I'm ok instead of checking me.
Before Dr. Fox came in The PCT whom was a very nice women was talking with my son and I was checking my son vitals in walks a rude nurse on shift around 4pm heavy set tall caucasian lady snatching the paper out of the lady hand telling her she will take care of the rest and raising her voice in the process asking what was going on with my son she never introduced herself she just started asking questions one of the questions was why was he here I told her the reason which was chest pains as well she then says with her neck rolling you didnt think to give him medication I asked her why would I give him meds before getting to the er. First of all she don't know where I was coming from too even ask me a question like that secondly the nurse usually ask did you give him any meds before coming not recommending giving the child meds before coming when you not sure whats going on or even knowledgeable about the situation. I will never return to JCMC ER IN BAYONNE AGAIN...
Read moreWriting this review is so upsetting. I went into this ER with extremely heavy bleeding and stomach pains (something that’s NOT my normal) Although the staff was nice and the facility was clean, I don’t believe I got evaluated properly enough for the price that they charged my insurance. All they did for me was give me a pregnancy test, ibuprofen and sent me home with a prescription for birth control. They tried to do a physical exam, but I was bleeding so much that it couldn’t even be done. All for a price of almost $4000. I would understand that price if I had gotten a CT scan, ultrasound or even bloodwork…but I received none of those. I was even told that an ultrasound wasn’t necessary. The doctor (or resident) said next time I should go to Jersey City. Like what? Are they not qualified enough at this ER? Do they not have the proper equipment? Or are they just lazy? I shouldn’t have to drive 20-30 minutes to another city to receive quality care when there is an ER 5 minutes away from me. When I went to my OBGYN the next day (they gave me an appointment right away when I called with my situation) my doctor was surprised when I told him that they didn’t at least do bloodwork or an ultrasound. Also, how could they prescribe me birth control if they don’t know what was going on with me with no further testing other than a pregnancy test? Not even my OBGYN recommended that. If I took anything without knowing what was truly going on, it could have made this situation worse. Now, my OBGYN is handling an emergency situation the ER should have handled that night I went in. Turns out an ultrasound is absolutely necessary and bloodwork is also necessary. Very disappointed in this ER. I’m never going back. Not even for a scratch...
Read moreThis is why I hate going to the er. I got there a little before 10am. Been having a serious fever for 4 days ( now 6) with horrible body aches and chills. Went to see my regular Doctor first at 8:30am who did testing but sent me to the ER when nothing came up. The place was practically empty, only 2 patients before me. Why is there only one person to register you?? Terique was the only kind and EMPATHETIC employee as well as another male nurse with purple hair. A rude nurse had come in with the fluid you drink for a CT scan and was mixed with apple juice. I can't stand apple juice and I was already nauseous from the fever (they gave me nothing for the fever until hours later, an hour before my discharge. When I said it, he slammed the cup down in my face and said that I have to drink it to do the scan. I asked for something else to be mixed in. He refused and just gave it to me plain, which made me even more nauseous. Terique and the purple haired nurse gave me extra blankets and put cranberry juice and ice with the liquid. I was able to take it. I then was left in the room for hours with no one to check on me. Was hitting the call buttons to contact the nurse. I would hear the beeping go off but they literally just ignored me. All i heard was laughing. I was so miserable and cold and in pain. I cried. The fever and chills were so bad I started to sweat beneath the blankets. I wasn't given any relief until an hour before my discharge. I left at almost 5pm when I got there before 10am. Imagine laying there shaking and sweating for hours. They couldn't even find anything and I'm still suffering. Please...
