I worked with Alan virtually from the other side of the US and he was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I wanted a custom design and his design blew my expectations out of the water, he incorporated everything into it flawlessly. It was a wedding ring but I was about 10 years late getting it, but I knew I wanted something really unique considering how patient my wife had been. He was accommodating when we set up a video conference and walked me through what my different options and explained the cost breakdown on each item so I felt very comfortable with the price. He explained the different kind of metal/stones and how they were priced and how the held up over time. He mailed out a ring sizing kit to my house free of charge before I even had paid him a cent and he even it got here in 2 days. He gave me an estimate to make the ring and met his timelines and got the ring to me promptly. It was just as beautiful as he had shown us on the CAD rendering and my wife and I were very pleased with his craftsmanship. It has only been about 5 months since and my wife has received quite a few compliments on it for such a short span. I would highly recommend using Alan for any and all of your jewelry needs. Not only is it great craftsmanship but it also helps support a small business owner who really puts his soul into his work...

Living in the Low Country with constant humidity, I found my rings getting tight …. It might also have something to do with age :). I did a little research online and decided to give AW Jewelry a call. Alan was engaging and knowledgeable. He met with me and explained the process of enlarging my rings. He also took a close look at my rings under his microscope to see what kind of shape they were in. I brought him four rings. He found that two of the baguettes on my engagement ring were very loose! We talked about his plan to secure the baguettes and also to secure a sapphire on a different ring. I left his studio with the understanding that Alan would get the engagement ring enlarged and repaired before the end of the day. I understood that I would have to wait on the other three rings until a future promised date. Alan called me towards the end of the day to let me know I could come pick up my engagement ring … AND the other three rings! All three were complete! I rushed down to his shop, conveniently located in downtown Beaufort. I picked up all four rings. When I say that they looked brand new I am being absolutely honest He restored each ring to a “factory finish”. I can’t stop looking at my beautiful rings… and the sizing is perfect. I would highly recommend Alan for all of your special jewelry needs...

I cannot express how grateful I am to have worked with AW Jewelry. I inherited a few rings from my grandmother that had gorgeous stones but outdated designs. I brought several of her iconic pieces, along with a few inspiration images, to Alan in the hopes that he could help me create a new ring using as much of the original material as possible.
