First ask yourself how a souvenir and T-shirt shop gets a rating this low and then look below to find out. We visit Beaufort 4-5 times a year and this store is always a must stop. We like to come in early in the season and get our tshirts etc for the summer. I also like to get my grandbabies a T-shirt each visit and they carry small sizes upstairs. We walked in, my husband and boys (13/15) were looking around. My son saw some funny stickers and brought them to me and their dad to let us read it. When we come down the stairs he put them back where he found them. I went to the register to buy a hat my grandson wanted. I looked back at my boys and asked them if they had anything they wanted me to purchase while I was paying. They each said no and the lady behind the counter asked "what about those stickers?" Calling my kid a thief without seeing them steal? She had good enough eyes to watch him pick up two tiny stickers but didn't pay attention to see him put them back. For future reference, my suggestion as a business owner of 27 years, you might want to have someone check cameras before making an accusation like that. Needless to say we won't be back to this store or any of the others they own...

My family went to this store while visiting the historic district of Beaufort. We bought several items. However, a pair of shorts did not fit like expected. On the receipt, it said that returns must be made within 7 days (this was 2 days after buying), all tags must be on the item (they were), and must have the original receipt (I did). We stopped by the store on the way back home and were going to get the $52.99 back for the shorts and be on our way. I was then told by the cashier that they did not do returns and did not know why their own receipt says they do. The cashier even called the manager on the phone and the manager said the same thing. I was given store credit to a store I probably won’t be in the same zip code as for a long time. I had just spend $109 there a couple of days ago and wasn’t treated fairly. The two girls working tonight at 6pm were just so oblivious that any of us walked into the store. No welcoming and then at check out didn’t say a word to me, and had me standing there for 2 minutes ignoring me. Continued to talk to her coworker and ring me out (still doesn’t say a single word to me) and I grab my bag and walk out and the damn alarm goes off because she forgot to take off the security tag.
