I urge you to reconsider choosing Sherry Kent, FNP. Following my diagnosis of severe sleep apnea, I repeatedly requested a referral to a Pulmonologist. During the follow-up appointment, her demeanor was rude, uncaring, and unhelpful—a side of her I had never seen in my years as her patient.

Despite my efforts, I am still awaiting a response after recent calls and emails to Seaside. It appears that they either dropped the ball or never even acknowledged it.

On the bright side, my wife, a native of Carteret County and a dedicated RN, BSN with over 20 years of experience, took action. She located one of the state's top Pulmonologists, specializing in Sleep Apnea, and directly contacted him with my sleep study results. Without hesitation, he agreed to take me on as a patient.

While I acknowledge Sherry's intelligence, as a nurse practitioner, there are specific conditions that require referral to specialists. The failed pulmonary sleep study should have been more than enough for her to make the necessary referral. Her reluctance to do so raises significant concerns.

Had an ingrown toenail one before and went to nova urgent care in morehead and the doctor there did not take the proper time to numb me up so I felt a great deal of pain but Dr. Carolina did amazing!!!! She is great and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone absolutely love her work. I would certainly suggest that you stay away from this place. After making this post I was dropped from coming there I have very good insurance but for you folks that may not have good coverage I suggest to you either find another health care provider or go to a health care clinic in MHC.
