Do NOT recommend! Terrible experience! The girl that took care of us came out and seemed annoyed she had to work.. the food is claiming to be natural and a “healthy experience”…I don’t think the owners know what healthy is. Pure sugar filled juices nothing fresh! Healthy would mean no added sugars, no added colors, and maybe one ingredient could be fresh! This was a sugar filled experience that I might as well have gone and had a milkshake or an icee from a gas station for a quarter of the price. $10 plus tax for fake ingredients! No thank you! The inside is cute, but it’s about 80 degrees and humid. So disappointing! Take a pass… it’s not worth your money or time. (response to owner about my review): I believe your response says everything about how you run your business. You may want to learn how good customer service works instead of lashing out as a response to a review. You should also think about listing all of your ingredients that you put into your smoothies on your menu. If someone has an allergy how are they supposed to know if something is in your recipe? If you claim to have organic ingredients why would you not put the USDA organic emblem on your menu, thats a selling point you should be proud of?! Also in your reply you are saying your fruit is cut fresh every day and you are saying its frozen puree? which is it? You use nutella and chocolate syrup in your smoothie... those are both pure sugar, so maybe look into some raw ingredients such as cacao powder and raw maple syrup. Those are a few options you could add in instead of refined sugars. Thanks for your reply... it was quite telling of how you run...
Read moreEDIT: *The owner did respond below, so that is appreciated (although it was not done very kindly or professionally), and I will stand corrected on the quality of the ingredients. If the owner says that all of this is true, then I will believe them and retract my original statement regarding the food. I do not wish to unfairly disparage a business. I do remain concerned that the full ingredients, including sugar sources, are not clearly listed anywhere in detail for the drinks (spirulina is important to disclose, I think, and could have prevented some of my distrust in the color). It's also a problem for me that that the staff seemed bothered and could not answer our questions (perhaps a book of ingredients and sourcing could be available to the staff for questions), but as a business owner myself, I understand how that can be a struggle these days with high turnover and training.
Cute shop setup, but the server was uninformed as to what she was serving and seemed annoyed that we were there. It also was hot and humid inside. We really wanted to go in and get a healthy juice smoothie, but the concoctions had unnatural colors and seemed to have a lot of sugar. They probably taste good to someone that wants a treat, but we wanted breakfast. Upon further inspection, ingredient lists were not available, either. It definitely was not what was described on the website. We didn't want a dessert smoothie...it was supposed to be healthy and fresh, but to a true connoisseur of fresh, organic, and clean eating, this is...
Read moreLove this place. Highly recommended. I got the “hang 10” then went back the next day and got the “set sail”. Both were GREAT if I had to choose though I’d go with the hang 10. The fresh strawberries with almond butter go great with the açaí, banana and granola. Set sail is similar but blueberries and honey instead of strawberries and almond butter. They also have a great selection of protein snacks. The caramel protein popcorn is so good! Last but not least the kids loved the slushy! We vacation here every year and I will be back to Beach Bowls for sure! Check this place out when your at the...
