I just wanted to make a comment for management regarding poor service at the Bar. My boyfriend and were out celebrating and saw "tequila bar" and decided to have a shot. The restaurant was at about 50% and the bar was empty aside from us and 1 other customer. I asked if he had a tequila menu he said "no" and handed me a cocktail menu. I told him we prefer a shot chilled and wanted to sample something we had never had before. My fault for not asking price points. A good bartender would have offered at the very least price range. Again ny mistake for assuming 2 top shelf shots would probably cost us close to 60 dollars .. my shock when the 2 shots were over 100.00. Thank GOD when he asked if we wanted a double I said "no."
After reading other reviews it's obvious that the bar is overpriced and doesn't inform customers of drink prices.
It seems this is common. I feel taken advantage of by the poor service the bartender gave. I worked in the service industry for years and have NEVER stiffed anyone on a tip EVER. I am not ashamed to say I did not tip a dime. He had plenty of time to wait on us. An explanation of the shelf levels at the very least and their general price range would have been nice.
My shot was 60 my boyfriends 40. Clase Azul was the brand I will admit it was the best tequila I have ever had, well worth the price had I been given the choice. I am offended that we were NOT. After reading the reviews they don't have a tequila menu for that reason... they change their prices apparently.
Not everyone on every occasion can spare no expense. Had I known the price tag however I would have made a different choice. I learned a lesson here I'm not afraid to admit my mistake. Wanted to make sure people know to not trust this bar. To the bartender so youre aware of why there was no tip..... It's your job to educate the consumer about what you are offering as much as it is to serve them. Dont treat customers like suckers. It's not insulting to offer the price point if there is no menu unless of course you're taking...
Read moreDoorDash/UberEars Drivers BEWARE!!! I drive for door dash and uber eats and tonight’s experience has me never wanting to accept another order from this restaurant again. I waited 20-30min and here is how it went.. I walked in and waited at the bar by the door, the hostess seen me come in and didn’t say anything. Another family came in and she sat them, when she came back I asked her about the door dash order. She went over, checked the bags that were sitting behind the counter and walked to the back. When she came back said, one min. Okay waited some more time with no other help, meanwhile there were two men working the bar. A young man came out from the back with a bag, I asked is that the DoorDash order for _? He looked at the bags said no and walked off. Again waited longer, I asked the hostess if she knew how long the order will take to be done. She walked away and spoke with the men at the bar, then another woman came up and asked if I was waiting for a order, I said yes a door dash order. She said they were busy and it would be a couple more min, she walked off and again I wait. Finally one of the men working the bar comes up and asked about my order. I advised him that I was with door dash and picking up a order for _, he then turns around grabs one of the bags that have been sitting there THE WHOLE TIME and hands me the bag. Let me remind you 3 other people have looked at these bags and knew I was there for a order. Are you kidding me???? Absolutely ridiculous, my time is important and the customers food sat there getting cold. The food was done when I got there, the hostess could have just handed it to me and I could’ve left and the customer could’ve gotten warm food that they paid for. I will not be acceptable any orders from this restaurant...
Read moregot the fajita quesadilla, it was ok, kinda underwhelming, hardly any cheese on it, and way too many onions and canned mushrooms. hard to not be gross when saying this, but lets just say my bowels were not happy with the food. however... the rice was something to note, it was so fluffy and soft, it was amazing, ive had rice at like every mexican place ive ever been to, and this rice was seriously on another level. so good.
it was a super busy tuesday night and we decided to come here since no shame pizza refused to serve us 20 minutes before closing. we arrived and though it took some time for us to be seated, the staff looked calm and collected despite how busy it was, they were kind and respectful. (although they did forget to give us the side of mayo my gf asked for, hense -1 star for service)
the atmosphere however, was awful, the music was way too loud (and annoying, i mean some spanish music is very pleasant, but the stuff they were playing sounded like just chaotic circus noise), prompting all the parties to have to scream to be heard of each other, resulting in a volume level that was very uncomfortable, so much that we decided to order our food to go.
the open floorplan of the restaurant is a bad design, its an acoustic nightmare, and not even remotely a private or intimate setting for a dinner. the lighting was a little too bright, but the lights were pretty cool looking at least. i would go back here at a time thats not as busy, just to get some more of that...
