Always been a strong believer in supporting your small local businesses. Especially our LGS stores. I understand pricing product to market But charging $100 almost double the price for a terrestrial festival Japanese booster box. Is insane. Retail is about $54 and the market price at most stores is $70 to $80 right now which is still insane. Going $20 over the already high price I can't support that. I used to buy all my product at this location because they were always fair and always charged at least MSRP on things. Unfortunately that's why all your big box stores are going to run our beloved LGS is out of business. Because no matter how crazy the market gets, they never go above MSRP on product. So with that being said, unfortunately I will not be able to open this set because of greed. I refuse to pay $10 a pack for a newly released set. I'm okay paying a dollar or two more per pack just because it is a hot item but to charge double the price is pure insanity. Just remember who stayed loyal to you during your tough times when pokémon was not booming And I was still coming to you paying MSRP when I could have ordered offline for cheaper. I guess the loyalty doesn't go both ways, lessened learned. Your employees are amazing by the way. They really represent your business really well. You could see the embarrassment in their faces when they had to tell me $10 a pack and $100 a booster box. Sorry for the long rant, I'm just tired of our beloved local lgs's Selling out to greed. I just say good luck when the market flips And you lost a lot of your loyal...

My Girlfriend and I drove all the way from Chicago (4 1/2 HRS) to visit this store to buy a few gifts for our nieces and nephews for their upcoming birthdays. We were excited to see what the hype was all about And Honestly it wasn’t what we were expecting from the store. Half of the Inventory was empty and the prices were ridiculous. A Sticker that was in Japanese was $8 SMH then the workers don’t even greet you for coming in but they will walk up the plushes to “ Fix” 2-4 of them then just walk back to the register and keep looking at you since we probably don’t look like the regular customers that come in there; SOO they called a security guard to come to the store and basically roamed wherever my girl and I were due to them feeling like we were going to steal something while mind you this we were BOTH FaceTiming with our family members to ask what to get for the kids upcoming birthdays. We both agreed that for 10-12 items ARE NOT WORTH $230 and WILL NOT visit that store again endless I somehow end up in Ohio again as well as them having a full inventory too BUT I DOUBT IT. Not trying to pull the race card or anything but we were Definitely racially profiled since we were both Hispanics especially when they called the security guard in and had her come in and shadow us for about 5-8 mins then left once realizing we weren’t going to steal...ALL BC WE WERE WALKING BACK AND FORTH WITH ITEMS IN OUT HANDS ON THE PHONE AND FOR IT BEING OUR FIRST AND ONLY TIME...

I share the opinion with the reviews that this store is higher priced than online, however I also noticed that this is not an official store owned by The Pokémon Company/Game Freak (The Pokémon Center (official store) is in Ikebukuro Japan), a quick search revealed there isn't a seller discount, so if that's true... that would mean they must pay normal prices for the items they sell.

I might share this opinion but I don't see this as a reason to dock stars at this time. I noticed a Lapras was $39.99 in store, but online (out of stock) it was $24.99 (pokemon center). If they are paying full price, I'm okay with the markup as it would support the payroll for the employees, rental of the mall space, any benefits or cleaning supplies, as well as a profit margin (in addition a purchasing budget to maintain stock).

The store is clean, well organized, and very well stocked. I was surprised and pleased with their selection options and I enjoyed finding things I didn't know exist. The employee was young but helpful and advised of a flavor of spicy Pikachu fries. I love the setup and appreciate all the small things they've done throughout the store (check out one of the...

I came here all the way from Columbus on my birthday to "treat myself", and left with entirely too much stuff. The selection was a Poke-fan's paradise! I do know the Sitting Cuties are a bit of an upcharge from the Pokemon Center online store, so I might recommend checking there first for ones that aren't sold out yet. Keep in mind that you would have to pay shipping and wait for your item(s) though. But for ones that are sold out like my Sunshine Form Cherrim, it's a no-brainer! The medium-sized plushies were about $35 each, but I felt that was reasonable because of the size, quality (they're soft and fuzzy), and the fact that they're Japan-exclusive. I had a hard time pulling myself out of there, lol. If you are a Pokemon fan, I definitely recommend checking this place out at least once. I've no doubt that I'll be back. P.S. I almost didn't buy the Dedenne plush, but I'm so glad my husband talked me into it because "Denny" was my main in Scarlet, and I would have kicked myself from Ohio to the west coast and back if I had left it behind.

The height references of Pokemon on the pillars right as you walk in are fun to see. They were out of a handful of figurines but it's expected as this is such a niche store. They have a LOT of plushies though. Some range from generic looking ones you can get from the toy aisle of a regular store, while others are larger in size, quality, and price. The prices range from "this is a good deal" to "wow I can't believe this is so much." A handful of items are straight from Japan which explains the prices, but some you can get on the pokemon center's website. But I mean if you love Pokemon, you won't care. The Swablu plushie I got is large and super soft, so I was willing to pay the almost $60 for it. They also have cards for sale, ones in English and Japanese. And those gumball like machines where you can purchase a token at the register and put it in and you'll get a random item (the tokens are $6). They also have a rewards program, but this is 3 hours away from where I live so I denied it, but I imagine it's great for locals.
