I could not say enough good things about harvest! I have been to almost every dispensary from here in Dayton to Cincinnati and even a few good ones, reasonably priced with nice selections- but none of them compare to harvest. Where do you want me to even begin?! Literally the only drawback to harvest is that they donāt have more locations, but that is changing already and they are growing fast! āŗļøPun intendedāŗļø Harvest of beavercreek is by far the best experience Iāve had in all my years of experience with medical marijuana retailers. First off, the general manager, Aspen. This young woman is so incredibly helpful and kind and ready to assist with anything you need. I had a complication with a product that I had purchased and she was able to help me find a resolution immediately and even took it a step further. When I had to reach out about a broken cartridge that had damaged one of my batteries she even replaced the battery despite having no obligation to do so. Thankfully she was able to help me contact the vendor as well as taking steps in store to resolve this. It was such a relief, we all know how frustrating it can be getting products that are usually so expensive (I should add that it was not as expensive because I got it at harvest) only to deal with manufacturing issues or technical difficulties right? But here I had help. Secondly, I am a caregiver as well and it was a very hard decision to seek medical marijuana for my son. The entire process was very challenging and as a mother it is so hard not to feel judged. From the moment I contacted harvest with questions about purchasing his medication, I knew that there was absolutely no judgment. When I arrived in person and was met by Denise initially, she helped me with everything I needed, including getting my sonās paperwork in order so that I would be able to purchase for him. He is very young and does not have a state ID like myself nor is he eligible for one so we had to find out together what kind of ID would be acceptable so that I could get his medication. Once we resolve that issue, it was then time to talk about what our options were and what meds could possibly help him. This is where not only Denise but once again Miss Aspen came to the rescue and both were able to help me find products that maximize days, stretch dollars as far as possible and still help me accurately and safely give my son the doses that he requires of each specific component of these medicationās. It is all so daunting and overwhelming and I could not be more grateful for the help that we have received at harvest and this is now the only place that I am willing to use. I apologize because I know this is very lengthy but I feel that this place is so under valued and I am excited to see them continue to grow and hope to see more coming to my area soon. At this moment it is still a 15 mile drive to reach them but it is absolutely worth it and I would drive much further if it came down to it.
Thank you all...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI started coming to harvest about 1 1/2 years ago when I first got my med license for the C-PTSD that I suffer from. Besides the front door slamming shut every time someone came in, I was a big fan of how things worked. The front desk was always friendly, the person that was helping you would call you to the back room and give you a nice greeting, then ask you face-to-face if you needed anything else if you placed an online order.
It was like night and day the last time I went in, and I am sad to say I will be finding another dispensary. It seems to be under new management. The positive and happy vibes I normally felt had all but been sucked out of the experience. A guy stood at the door and called back several people at once. No greeting, just handing me my cards and telling me to go stand in line. Then I wait for this guy to help me and he is already standing behind the glass partition. He doesn't greet me either, just says "NAME". So I gave him my name. I had to then say it again because he couldn't hear me. I had to essentially yell through this glass and it was extremely uncomfortable for me. It would have been okay if it would have only been once but I needed to add to my order and trying to communicate with this man was not easy. I kept having to raise my voice and try to show him pictures through the glass of what I wanted to add to my order (which was only two things) but that felt like a huge mistake because this man seemed very impatient with me. I had a $50 Amazon gift card that I wanted to turn in the points for too and when I asked him if he would help me with that I got only more annoyance from him and a "well I have to start a new transaction". At that point I just wanted to leave. It was so bad and off that I asked him if it was under new ownership because I have never had such a bad experience here and I was in disbelief at his attitude. When I called him out on it he gave me a very insincere apology. I didn't recognize a single person working that day besides the front desk receptionist.
I didn't appreciate being herded into the backroom without any kind of greeting, while terrible radio music played and a bunch of grumpy white men begrudgingly gave me the medicine I need. What...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been to several dispensaries in the Dayton area and this one is by FAR the nicest! The staff is knowledgable and friendly. I find the prices to be much cheaper (especially on sale items). Desmond has helped me out a few times and remembers me when I come in which I don't get at the other dispensaries.
HOWEVER, THEY NEED A BETTER CHECK IN SYSTEM! Today was VERY busy when I went (there was a sale and it's friday... I get it). Probably 12 people in front of me in line when I checked in at 915am. Budtenders started calling people back and all was going well UNTIL they started calling people out of order! There were customers that had been waiting an hour+ (I waited 45 minutes to get called back) because they didn't get checked in the order in which they arrived. Both working the front desk gave some excuse, got totally defensive/rude when asked about the order, and were totally clueless as to what was going on. Then the waiting room was told something along the lines of it doesn't matter the order you come in... Um, yes... that is the way it has ALWAYS worked. Please get a better check in system! There were several customers that left because they had no idea how long the wait would be and no idea the order they'd be checked in.
Update: The system at Harvest had improved greatly and the service is top notch! I often find the best prices and quality product at HOB. I enjoy buying product here and feel welcomed when I am there. They have a loyalty program which I was excited about, but haven't really gotten much more information since it's release. Also, I wish the back was reconfigured a little. I'm hard of hearing and it's difficult to hear anyone even with the intercom. It's my least favorite part of going there. Much improved,...
