I am very disappointed in spectrum service. About to reach out to the news and anywhere else to bring attention to what spectrum has been doing to my family. They been charging for 2 different accounts for us. Every few days we are on the phone with them begging for help. They say they took the stuff off the bill, but actually added more. After calling and calling we finally got to spectrum and the man said he was sorry this has happened a allot. But needless to say now there saying even more after taking over 200 from are bank card that was not even supposed to be on auto pay. I can't even afford to buy Thanksgiving dinner for my family because of what spectrum are doing to customers. I'm going to reach out to the news police and anywhere else that may be able to help us. A big business like this and for being loyal customers they took everything from are bank card. I will never forget what these employees did to us. We was told 24 to 48 hours and money would be back on the bank card and then we call and now there saying there's a 300 dollar bill. We don't even have service with spectrum. Because they did nothing but lie and take and take. And nobody does what they say they just want to get rid of us and let next person deal with the lie they told us. I'm livid. I'll never use spectrum service again. I'll go to court over this. Your ruining my family's holiday's and keep me and my husband fighting. Because you drained all but less than 7 dollars from are bank account. I know that has to be against the law. I will not let this go. You can't rob ppl by charging for 2 different services. We never had 2 different services. There's so much more to this but I can't take even another second with spectrum and what they done. I couldn't pay even for my son a school shirt because as I went to pay for it spectrum had just took all the money from bank card. I just can't imagine how many ppl that are being done this way. Especially someone like my husband who is not from this country so he's always treated like he don't matter. Read moreI have a love/hate relationship with this company. Although I've mostly been satisfied with the reception and service from Spectrum, this past week's debacle gave me a reason to post a review.
03/16/2022 - my internet suddenly went kaput after a "routine update."
03/17/2022 - called Spectrum to have a technician come and resolve the issue. Tech visit was scheduled for 03/19/2022 between 1400-1500.
03/19/2022 - while idling by in preparation for a visit, out of nowhere I receive a voicemail at 1404 saying they're dismissing my visit because the technician "stopped by and I didn't answer the door." Whoever this technician was must have been a ghost because I heard and saw nothing, and when calling the dispatch department back they couldn't find any reports or tickets about this "visit" either. Furthermore I received no advance notice via phone call, despite my request for one. As a result, my appointment was rescheduled for 03/22/20122 between 1000-1100.
03/22/2022 - I get a reminder call from Spectrum about my appointment (as they should have done on 03/19) and the wonderful service tech Robert shows up and gets everything back in working order within half an hour.
So there is a happy ending to this mini-saga, however, the minor speed bump was enough to keep one eye...
Read moreA technician was sent to my new home on June 27th because I was sent the wrong equipment after I moved. He came out to my house and I asked him if I could just use my modem/router from the old address instead of using a separate modem and router and he said that the separate ones he brought were faster so I agreed to have him use the new ones. I asked him if I could return the equipment I wasn't using to him since I was told they could send someone to pick it up and wanted to save someone an extra trip. He said yes, he would return it that evening after he returned back to the office. He said once he scanned in the serial number, it would show that the equipment was registered to my old account. Two weeks later and I got charged $59 for the same equipment that I handed him that day. When I called Spectrum, I was on hold for over 2 hours only to be told that the technician must not have returned or I was lying and there was nothing I could do but pay for it. I have been a customer for many years and this was how I was treated. It would be so easy for them to verify this with the technician that came to my house on June 27th but they refused.
