Embarking on a quest through the heart of downtown Beaverton, I stumbled upon a treasure trove known as Forager Vintage. This cozy boutique is a delightful blend of nostalgia and whimsy, offering a curated selection of vintage clothing, accessories, and home goods that seem to whisper tales from yesteryears.
As I meandered through the store, I couldn’t help but feel like a modern-day Indiana Jones, uncovering relics from the ’70s to the ’90s. Each piece, from upcycled sweatshirts adorned with vintage lace to eclectic wizardcore ensembles, seemed to have its own unique story.
The ambiance was akin to stepping into a real-life Pinterest board, with earthy tones and comfy casual pieces evoking a Frog and Toad aesthetic. The staff, ever so friendly and knowledgeable, acted as my personal guides through this labyrinth of forgotten treasures.
Beyond the vintage finds, Forager Vintage showcases the work of many local artists, offering an array of gifts and goodies that support the vibrant creative community. It’s a place where sustainability meets style, and where shopping secondhand feels like a noble adventure.
So, if you find yourself yearning for a shopping experience that’s both quirky and conscious, don your explorer’s hat and venture into Forager Vintage. Who knows what gems you’ll unearth in this charming emporium...
Read moreI started following them on Instagram and just loved the vibe, come to find out it’s super close! I’ve been a few times and have gotten a gorgeous snake ring from a local artist and absolutely ran for the little raccoon figure they’d had on their Instagram stories and almost cried when he was still there (His name is now Ranger btw). Also as a plus size person it’s super hard to find clothes in general that are my size, let alone vintage ones, so it makes my heart happy that they have a nice little selection on that front. Truly love this store, the people that work there are a delight to talk to, and whoever runs the Instagram is a genius (my partner and I waited with baited breath for each new D&D class outfit). Check ‘em out. There’s a little something for everybody, which is really hard to do...
Read moreForager is exactly the type of store Beaverton needed. It’s so perfectly Portland with its cottage core attire and accessories, and a warmth about it that feels so lovely. The owner Hazzel is absolutely fantastic, so incredibly kind, and wants to reach out to customers individually. She really goes the extra mile, writing handwritten notes of thanks and stickers in her shipped items, she even remembered I was someone who interacted with her social media when I came into the store. Not to mention she ran the store singlehandedly in the midst of a global pandemic! 10/5 if I could give that rating, go to her store and meet she and the nice other people she hired recently. I can’t wait to see this become a staple of downtown Beaverton for years...
