Update: The review they are claiming to be mine is not. It's my partners and we have two separate reviews as two separate people patronizing a business. They talked to staff and my partner fit the description of someone who seemed not to know it was a community event and they discussed that with us yesterday? That's weird because we literally never even mentioned it to any staff members much less discussed it? Anyway, like I said I was gonna leave a 3 star review until I saw their behavior online. If you want to make money in your community you should like try to at least be cordial towards them. Someone leaving a bad review giving you feedback you have received so many times saying something as simple as paid a lot of money to sit with strangers and be unable to hear my partner did not warrant that type of response. Go touch grass.
I was going to go easy on them as I like to support local businesses and don't like to leave bad reviews for local spots but after seeing them name call a customer who provided them with feedback they didn't like and seeing the way they responded so childishly (literally told them to open their own tea place if they don't like this one) to a review they didn't like, I decided to be as brutal to them as they deserve. Yes, the description does say it is a community table. However, they easily could have had everyone at their own tables for something a little more intimate. The people at our table were so sweet so I didn't mind. However, if you want this to be more of a cute little romantic date this is not it and honestly it would have been nice to be at our own table instead of being forced to commune with strangers. Not everyone is an extrovert. That being said, while the tea was wonderful that food was downright terrible. Bread for the sandwiches was stale. The quiche was raw at the bottom. Egg salad was tasteless. Cheesy potato casserole was worse than hamburger helper. Every savory item was bland. Ever heard of salt? Guess not. Broccoli soup was clearly prepacked. Actually, I think I recognize it as Bear Creek cheddar broccoli? Even the sweets were bland. Lemon macaron was alright but the strawberry one didn't taste like anything other than sugar. Pretty sure I've had them from Grocery Outlet out of the frozen section. The pumpkin pasties were ok but again, quite bland. These people are either getting their items premade or afraid to season their food. The ONLY redeeming item on the platter was the clotted cream and scones. But even the scones were stale and dry. They were just a vehicle to eat clotted cream which I adore. Clearly no love or care goes into the food. While I was in England I had afternoon tea at a Michelin star restaurant for 45 pounds ($58 USD) per person. And that's the expensive one! I mean you can have a Harry Potter afternoon tea for two at Warner Bros Studios in London for 80 pounds ($103 USD) Here we paid $75 PER PERSON for food that was mediocre at best to downright inedible. When the server came to offer a box for all the food we had left on the tray, we declined. Zero desire to finish eating any of that. The staff were great. The magician was great. The decor was cool. But this Harry Potter thing is just another gimmick. Save yourself the money and skip this one. I'll be sure to share with my friends who were excited to hear how it was and save them the money. I would have gone back for tea at this place because I dig the steampunk vibe and the tea I had was wonderful. But after seeing the owners response on here I would never patronize this business again.
TL;DR: food was terrible, more expensive than a Michelin star afternoon tea in England, owner rude to customers that provide feedback they don't like,...

The entrance opens to a retail area that was a visual playground of tea related products. So much fun things to look at and there was a gorgeous chocolate case filled with beautiful artisan chocolates of various colors and flavors.
We were seated by the window where there is a long plush and comfortable banquet with tables along one wall and my attention would go back and forth between our tea and the decor as there was plenty of fun whimsical touches from the artwork to the China to the chandeliers made of tea cups, so cute.
Both servers attending to us were friendly and knowledgeable about the tea selection and were generous with their time and guidance as we made our tea selections.
I selected their house blend and a chai which were so delicious. The tiered plates containing both savory and sweet offerings were filled with typical high tea menu. For my taste the standout in this service were the bignet which was so soft and flacorful, the sheppards pie with each layered component seasoned perfectly into a delicious contrast of creamy texture of mashed potatoes with the seasoned beef balanced with the sharpness of the cheese on top. All the sandwiches were delicious and tasted fresh (who wants a stale sandwich right?). Though these were my favorites everything else was also delicious and met my expectations in quality and flavor.
I'm grateful that I was able to give myself this treat during the challenges with this pandemic. The tables were spaced out appropriately and everyone entered with masks which added to my sense of safety and assurance that people are taking this risk seriously and being diligent while taking on the risk of leaving the house.
Upon leaving, I made my purchases in the retail section where I noticed that they also do themed teas like a Harry Potter tea. So cute and creative. I look forward to many more afternoon tea services at this fine establishment. Two hour sitting sounds reasonable but I could have stayed another hour as it sped...
Read morePoor customer service and bad business ethics. Low value service for upscale price. She ensured me that her teas were the finest important teas from around the world, highest quality and she only allowed customers to purchase tea if the they made a reservation, I asked her if she had any reservations within the next hr cause that was as long as could wait, she’s like ( I’m paraphrasing)“ ohhhh nooooo, we are so exclusive and high status that we stay booked up for months at a time, I don’t have a reservation available about 6 months from now, our tables can run you hundreds of dollars and our phone rings off the hook with people trying to get in here”I looked around although the decor was cute, the floors we concrete, the air was musty like old attic and there was multiple empty tables . Only two had people sitting in it. I looked over on the counter and saw a decorative tin tea can with a 3.99 Ross sticker on it. “ so your tea is the world’s finest imported?” “Yes from England, and other European fine imports” ….. “ well , I was hoping to just have a cup of tea, but obviously you don’t have a single place to put me as u are booked up for 6 months, I guess I’ll have to get in line behind all the other millionaires in town that are dying to eat $100+ tea and cookie plate.” I had to leave quickly cause I couldn’t control my laughter much longer. I’ll just go to Ross and buy my own can of fine imports teas and save all that money. I can’t vouch for taste of baked items cause I never tried them but judging by the comments and others who have eaten here they are not that Good and definitely not worth the price you pay. If you have a 100$ to throw away and theme restaurants are your thing and you have no problem sharing a table with complete strangers , then this may be the place for you. But prepare to be royally disappointed. I’d pop in to check it out before I pay online cause it’s non refundable once you arrive. But be prepared to catch an attitude cause she doesn’t like people dropping in without a...
