Deborah is amazing!
I was a retail manager for years and would have been BLESSED to have had her on my retail team. She personalizes every experience I have had there(my 8 year old Greyson even loves her!), I have witnessed her helping the store to look put together in down time, she gets to know everyone who comes in, really boosts everyone's confidence when they are trying on clothes....she really is pro at what she does. It feels like such a healthy, fun, uplifting environment when she is there and I have never heard her speak poorly of any other associate or location which has not been my experience with other associates and locations.
I am reaching out not just because she is amazing, but bc I don't understand why she is not there full time?! And if I am being 100% transparent....why she isn't a manager. I suppose there is a possibility maybe she doesn't routinely want full time or wasn't hired for full time but when expressing to her a few weeks ago how lately I can't seem to catch her there, she stated she wasnt given many hours that week again or the week prior and apologized. This associate is the sole reason I continue to shop this location. Her not being there I can personally say has affected the money I spend there. I no longer shop there if I see she is off. I may eyeball a few things as I walk back out taking notes of what I will buy the next time I catch her there and I doubt they make commission but on the chance they do...She deserves my sale. I do not just go there for the clothes...I go there for the atmosphere and experience she offers.
My son who is 8 can't stand going shopping but if he knows we are going to see Mrs. Deborah he is all smiles. She needs scheduled more. PERIOD. not for my sake, but for the sake of your company. I sincerely mean that. I guarantee you, you have regulars bc of this angel of a woman. I did not read your reviews but I bet I will see her mentioned regularly. I mentioned this all to the manager awhile back. Gosh probably prior to this summer and she almost acted disgusted. Annoyed even. That really bothered me bc I felt she did not value this employee in that moment. I hope that isn't the case in real life. I would have rated a 5 but opted for a 4 bc of that interaction I had with the manager. That and there was an issue with an order I had once and I felt the manager's solution was not as appropriate as it could have been but again....it is because of Deborah that I continue to come back.
She deserves hours, a bonus, a raise, a promotion and a manager that is proud to have her! I thought about not posting this bc I imagine Deborah will potentially hear about it and I don't want her to know how her manager acted when I told her how amazing she was, but I feel it is more important the company know how she acted and I am confident that Mrs. Deborah will remain professional about it regardless.

Read moreI wasn't very happy when me and my daughter walked not sure if she was the manager or the cashier, but she stared at us like we didn't belong there. Umm, word to the wise, Spanish people have money to spend as well! We work hard for our money, so we can buy what we like. The lady saw us walk in, did not smile or greet us, she just turned and walked away. But yet greeted and was attentive to the other Caucasian women that were there. We're not ghetto, and like to dress casual when out shopping. And can afford to shop here and any where else. I've bought several outfits from other stores besides this one and was never made to feel like we were not welcome, I guess I'll just continue to shop at the Cato in Keller where I know I'll get service...
Read moreI'm in town for my father's funeral and needed a black top very quickly. I knew exactly what I wanted, but didn't see the right blouse in the Bedford Cato store. Debra searched the store with me and found the style I wanted in a different color. Then she checked online to find a black version in my size at the Euless location. She called Cato in Euless and had them hold the black blouse for me to make sure it would still be there when I arrived. The blouse she located was just what I was looking for.
